Preta-shila Hill is situated to the northwest of Gaya. Devotees who come on pilgrimage offer Shraddha here to their ancestors.  A foot print made by Lord Brahma can be found at the Preta Shila temple. A large shila, or stone, sits at the top of Preta-shila Hill. It is marked with a golden line and devotees place their pinda offerings here.
