The Lord is decorated with fragrant flowers that have been specified in Holy Scriptures as a part of the worship. This is one of the most meritorious ways of propitiating the Lord.

ಸುಂದರವಾದ ಹೂಗಳಿಂದ ಭಗವಂತನನ್ನು ಅಲಂಕರಿಸುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಲೀಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮೆಲುಕು ಹಾಕುತ್ತ ಭಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಈ ಸೇವೆಯ ಉದ್ದೇಶ. ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಸಿದ್ಧವಾದ ಪರಿಮಳಯುಕ್ತ ಹೂಗಳಿಂದ ಅಲಂಕರಿಸುವುದು, ಅರ್ಚಿಸುವುದು ಭಗವಂತನಿಗೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವ ಉಪಚಾರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠವಾದ ಉಪಚಾರವಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ.
