Pureprayer
Benne Alankara or Butter seva is done for Lord Ganesh, Lord Shiva and Lord Anjaneya on Tuesdays, Mondays and Saturdays respectively.
The Lord will be adorned with pure butter under this Seva. This is one of the ways of propitiating the Lord. The butter smeared on the idol of the Lord will be given to the devotee on the next day as Prasad.
ಬೆಣ್ಣೆ ಅಲಂಕಾರ [ಆಂಜನೇಯ/ಶಿವ] ಶುದ್ಧವಾದ ಬೆಣ್ಣೆಯಿಂದ ಭಗವಂತನನ್ನು ಸಿಂಗರಿಸುವ ಸೇವೆಯಿಂದ ಭಗವಂತನು ಸಂಪ್ರೀತನಾಗುತ್ತಾನೆ.ಈಸೇವೆಯನ್ನುಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದವರು ಮರುದಿನ ದೇವರ ಮೂರ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಅಲಂಕರಿಸಿದ ಬೆಣ್ಣೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಸಾದ ರೂಪವಾಗಿ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದು.
