In 1945-46, Raja Venkatraghavendrachar is believed to have come to Brindaranya, the present day Triplicane in Chennai, to have darshan of Lord Parthasarathy and his consort, the Divine mother Sri Vedavalli. He was proficient in all sastras and arts and was observing the rituals in an orthodox manner. On account of these credentials, he was privileged to serve as Diwan in the religious empire of Sri Suyamindra Thirtha, the head of Moola Brindavana at Mantralaya, in 1945-46. Sri Venkatraghavendrachar had the opportunity of having darshan of Lord Parthasarathy at that time, while on an official errand in Chennai. Enamored by the sanctity of the place, he thought it very essential to have a Brindavan of Sri Raghavendraswami there. Therefore, he initiated all steps to have a Brindavn of Sri Raghavendra Swamy there. 1945 - 46 ல் வெங்கட ராகவேந்திராச்சார் பிரிந்தாரண்யாவிற்கு வந்தார் என நம்பப்படுகிறது. சென்னையில் உள்ள திருவல்லிகேனி பார்த்தசாரதி பெருமாளையும் வேதவள்ளி தாயாரையும் தரிசிக்க வந்தார். அவர் எல்லா சாஸ்திரங்களிலும், கலைகளிலும் தேர்ச்சிபெற்றவர். சுயமேந்திர தீர்த்தா என அழைக்கப்படும் அவரிடம் திவானாக இருந்தார். ஸ்வாமி சுயமேந்திர தீர்த்தர் மந்திராவில் அமைந்துள்ள மூல பிருந்தாவன தலைவராக இருந்தார். 1945 - 46 ல் வெங்கட ராகவேந்திராச்சார் வேலை நிமித்தமாக வந்தபோது பார்த்தசாரதி பெருமாளை தரிசிக்க அவருக்கு ஒரு வாய்ப்பு கிடைத்தது. அந்த இடத்தினுடைய பெருமையால் ஈர்க்கப்பட்ட அவர் ராகவேந்திரா ஸ்வாமியின் மந்திராலயத்தை அமைப்பது அவசியம் என்று என்னினார். ஆகவே அங்கு ராகவேந்திரா ஸ்வாமியின் பிருந்தாவனத்தை அமைப்பதற்கு எல்லா நடவடிக்கைகளையும் எடுத்தார்.
