Consecration of Sri Anjaneya Swamy was accomplished in 1900 AD. The temple has been constructed in a land donated by the then Municipality for free vide a Government Order dated April 2, 1909. Sri Sudheendra Tirtharu, Pontiff of Sri Puttige Mutt, which is one of the Udupi Ashta Mutts, consecrated the idol of Sri Anjaneya, in the gracious presence of Sri Bhandarakere Mutt Pontiff Sri Vidhyamanya Tirtharu and Sri Pejavara Mutt Pontiff Sri Visvesha Tirtharu. Sri Anjaneya Swamy temple is in the south-western quarter of this complex known as ‘Nairutya’ and the temple is north facing. Worshipping the Lord here is believed to protect devotees. A Dhwaja Sthamba or Flag Post can be seen in front of the temple. The temple consists of a sanctum sanctorum and a prakara or corridor. Sri Raghavendra swamy Mutt was built in the year 1945. Pontiff Shree Sudheendra Tirtharu of Puttige Mutt (which is one of the Udupi Ashta Mutts) re-installed Lord Anjaneyaswamy. Bhandarakere Mutt Pontiff Sri Vidyamanya Tirtharu and Pejavara Mutt pontiff Sri Vishvesha Tirtharu were also present. In 1945, Mruttike was brought from Mantralaya to Bangalore under the leadership of Sri Kommanahalli Subbarao who gifted the land for the installation of the Vrundavan. The Vrundavan was again reinstalled in the year 1994 by the Kundapura Vyasaraja Mutt Pontiff Sri Sri Lakshmindra Tirtharu. Parimala Mantap has been dedicated in the year 2012 ಶ್ರೀ ಆಂಜನೇಯ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಯ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯನ್ನು 1909 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾಪಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಈ ದೇವಾಲಯವನ್ನು ನಗರಪಾಲಿಕೆಯು (Government Order dated April 2, 1909) ಕೊಡಮಾಡಿದ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಅಷ್ಟಮಠಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾದ ಪುತ್ತಿಗೆಮಠಾಧೀಶರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಸುಧೀಂದ್ರತೀರ್ಥಸ್ವಾಮಿಗಳು ಶ್ರೀ ಆಂಜನೇಯಸ್ವಾಮಿಯ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯನ್ನು ಶ್ರೀ ಭಂಡಾರಕೇರಿ ಮಠಾಧೀಶರಾದ ಶ್ರೀವಿದ್ಯಾಮಾನ್ಯತೀರ್ಥರ ಹಾಗೂ ಶ್ರೀ ಪೇಜಾವರಮಠಾಧೀಶರಾದ ಶ್ರೀವಿಶ್ವೇಶತೀರ್ಥರ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪುನಃ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾಪನೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಶ್ರೀ ಆಂಜನೇಯಸ್ವಾಮಿಯ ದೇವಾಲಯವು ನಿವೇಶನದ ನೈರುತ್ಯಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ದೇವಾಲಯವು ಉತ್ತರದಿಕ್ಕಿಗೆ ಮುಖ ಮಾಡಿದೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಪೂಜಿಸುವ ಭಕ್ತಾದಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಖ್ಯಪ್ರಾಣನು ಕೈ ಹಿಡಿದು ಕಾಪಾಡುವನೆಂದು ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿದೆ. ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಮುಂದೆ ಧ್ವಜಸ್ತಂಭವಿದೆ. ಗರ್ಭಗೃಹದ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಪ್ರಾಕಾರವಿದೆ.

The idol of Sri Anjaneya Swamy of Malleswaram on the premises of Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt is about four feet high made of granite stone. Sri Anjaneya Swamy is a carving of ‘Ardha Shila’ type. Lord is seen walking westward with his right foot adorning the Nupuram in the front. His left foot is seen slightly raised from the ground. His left hand is seen resting on the right hip and he is holding the stem of Saugandhika flower. The fully blossomed flower is seen above his left shoulder. With his other hand, he appears to be blessing the devotees. The tail of Lord Anjaneya rises above his head with a curved end, which is adorned with a tiny bell. ಶ್ರೀ ಆಂಜನೇಯಸ್ವಾಮಿಯ ವಿಗ್ರಹವು ಸುಮಾರು ನಾಲ್ಕು ಅಡಿಗಳಷ್ಟಿದೆ. ಕೃಷ್ಣಶಿಲೆಯಿಂದ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿರುವ ಈ ವಿಗ್ರಹವು ಇದು ಅರ್ಧಶಿಲೆಯ ಮಾದರಿಯ ಶಿಲ್ಪವಾಗಿದೆ. ಸ್ವಾಮಿಯ ಭಂಗಿಯು ಪಶ್ಚಿಮದಿಶೆಯೆಡೆಗೆ ತೆರಳುತ್ತಿರುವಂತೆ ಕಂಡುಬರುತ್ತದೆ. ಎಡಗಾಲನ್ನು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಮೇಲೆತ್ತಿರುವಂತಿದ್ದು ಬಲಗಾಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನೂಪುರದ ಕೆತ್ತನೆಯನ್ನು ಕಾಣಬಹುದಾಗಿದೆ. ಎಡಗೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೌಗಂಧಿಕಾಪುಷ್ಪವನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದಿದ್ದು ಬಲಗೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಭಯಮುದ್ರೆಯಿದೆ. ಹನುಮಂತನ ಬಾಲವು ತಲೆಗಿಂತ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಎತ್ತರದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು ಒಂದು ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಘಂಟೆಯನ್ನು ಕಾಣಬಹುದು.
