This temple in Vasanthanagar has history of over 400 years. This temple is in the midst of sampige (champak) flowers and the deity is worshipped daily with these sampige flowers and therefore this god is widely known as Sri Sampangirama. As per the available information, Lord Sri Rama and Seetha Devi with Lakshmana and Hanumantha are evolved out of the rock. In the main sanctum, Lord Sri Rama is seen in sitting posture along with Seetha and on to the right of Sri Rama, Sri Lakshmana Swamy is standing with Anjali mudra. Another speciality of this temple is that, Lord Sri Rama is seen blessing Sri Hanumantha who is always chanting Sri Rama Tharaka manthra. Around 1968, a temple for Sri Manjunatha was also built and the Lord is worshipped as per Shaivagama way of worshipping. ವಸಂತ ನಗರದ ಸಂಪಂಗಿರಾಮ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಪುರಾತನ ದೇವಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸುಮಾರು 400 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಇತಿಹಾಸವಿದೆ. ಈ ದೇವಾಲಯವು ಚಂಪಕ ವೃಕ್ಷಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ಕಂಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ದಿನ ನಿತ್ಯ ಚಂಪಕ(ಸಂಪಿಗೆ) ಹೂಗಳಿಂದ ಪೂಜಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಶ್ರೀ ಸಂಪಂಗಿರಾಮನಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಖ್ಯಾತಿಗೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಒಂದೇ ಬಂಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೀತಾ ಸಮೇತ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಮಚಂದ್ರ ದೇವರು ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣ ಹಾಗು ಹನುಮಂತ ದೇವರು, ಆವಿರ್ಭವಿಸಿರುವುದು ಎಂಬ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಇದೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ವಿಶೇಷ - ಮೂಲ ಮೂರ್ತಿ ಪಟ್ಟಾಭಿಷಿಕ್ತ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ರಾಮನಾಗಿ, ರಾಮದೇವರ ಬಲ ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೀತಾ ದೇವಿಯನ್ನು ಕಾಣಬಹುದು. ಸೀತಾರಾಮಚಂದ್ರರಿಗೆ ಬಲಪಾರ್ಶ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣಸ್ವಾಮಿಯು ಅಂಜಲೀಮುದ್ರೆಯಿಂದ ನಿಂತಿರುವ ಭಂಗಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು, ಇಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಮದೇವರು ಶ್ರೀ ಆಂಜನೇಯ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಗೆ ರಾಮತಾರಕ ಮಂತ್ರವನ್ನು ಉಪದೇಶಿಸುವ ಸನ್ನಿವೇಶದಂತೆ ಭಾಸವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಸುಮಾರು 1968 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಮಂಜುನಾಥ ದೇವಾಲಯವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಶೈವಾಗಮ ರೀತ್ಯಾ ಪೂಜಾದಿಗಳು ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಕ್ರಮೇಣ ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾರ್ವತೀ ದೇವಿ, ಶ್ರೀ ಗಣಪತಿ ಹಾಗು ನವಗ್ರಹಗಳ ಗುಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಲಾಗಿದೆ.
