This unique Temple is situated on a hillock which is 240′ from the ground level. The total height of the temple is 123′ of which the six faced Gopuram itself is 62′ (including 19′ up to neck). The Crystal Dome above the Gopuram has a height of 42′, with 33′ Diameter and 105′ Circumference. The six faces of Lord Shanmukha are 6″ thick concrete moulded structures. The Crystal Dome stands at a commanding height of 42′ from the top of the Temple Gopuram, embedded with 2500 Nos. of 1′ diameter crystals. During day time, when direct Sun Light falls on the crystals, the same is converted into a beautiful “Rainbow” pattern. ಶೃಂಗಗಿರಿಯು ಭೂಮಟ್ಟದಿಂದ ಸುಮಾರು 240 ಅಡಿಗಳಷ್ಟು ಎತ್ತರವಿದ್ದು ಇದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಷಣ್ಮುಖನ ದೇವಾಲಯವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಒಟ್ಟು ಎತ್ತರ 123 ಅಡಿಗಳಿದ್ದು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಗೋಪುರಗಳ ಎತ್ತರ 62 ಅಡಿಗಳಷ್ಟಿದೆ. ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಹೊರರಚನೆಯು ಆಕರ್ಷಕ ವಾಸ್ತುಶೈಲಿಯಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿದೆ. ಈ ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಗುಣಲಕ್ಷಣವೆಂದರೆ ಇದರ ಗೋಪುರ ಹಾಗೂ ಅದರ ಮೇಲಿರುವ "ಕ್ರಿಸ್ಟಲ್" ಗುಮ್ಮಟ. ಇದು ಜಗಮಗಿಸುವ ವಿದ್ಯೂದ್ವೀಪಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದೆ.

The design of the entire temple structure is based on the very name of Lord Shanmukha, which means a ‘Six Faced God’. Shanmukha means 6 face. Dr. R. Arunachalam took responsibilities of Temple infrastructure. ಷಣ್ಮುಖ ಎಂದರೆ ಆರು ಮುಖ ಎಂದರ್ಥ ಬರುವುದರಿಂದ ಈ ದೇವಾಲಯದ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಕಾರ್ಯದ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ ಹೊತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಡಾ. ಆರ್. ಅರುಣಾಚಲಂ ಅವರು ಈ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದ ಗೋಪುರದಲ್ಲಿ ಷಣ್ಮುಖನ ಆರು ಮುಖಗಳಿರುವಂತೆ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
