According to the available sources, a few residents of Kengeri Satellite Town constituted the Sri Chandramouleshwara Seva Trust in about 2001 and began worshiping the Lord. Although till 2012 there was no site for this trust to erect a temple, the members of this trust were collecting donations and other contributions from the public for the purpose. Fortunately, in 2011 by collecting donations, an enthralling temple structure was raised by the trust. By strictly adhering to the principles of tradition and culture, the temple has now emerged into a pilgrim center. ಲಭ್ಯವಿರುವ ಮಾಹಿತಿಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಸುಮಾರು 2001 ನೇ ಇಸವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಂಗೇರಿ ಉಪನಗರ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದ ಕೆಲವು ಭಗವದ್ಭಕ್ತರು ಚಂದ್ರಮೌಳೇಶ್ವರ ಚಾರಿಟೆಬಲ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ ಎಂಬ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಭಗವದಾರಾಧನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಸುಮಾರು 2012ನೇ ಇಸವಿಯವರೆಗೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ನಿವೇಶನವಿಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೂ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನವೊಂದನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸುವ ಏಕೈಕ ಗುರಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂಘದ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ದೇಣಿಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಲಾರಂಭಿಸಿದರು. ಏತನ್ಮಧ್ಯೆ 2001ನೇ ಇಸವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರ ಧನ ಸಹಾಯದಿಂದ ಕೆಂಗೇರಿ ಉಪನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಭವ್ಯವಾದ ಚಂದ್ರಮೌಳೇಶ್ವರ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಗೊಂಡಿತು. ಈ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಟ್ಟು ನಿಟ್ಟಾದ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯಗಳನ್ನು ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಭಕ್ತ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಸ್ಥಳವಾಗಿ ಮಾರ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ.
