Aruvikkal sri durga devi temple is one among veettoor pancha shethras. The temple was renovated on 6 June 1999 and has been converted to an independent temple and is undertaken by the Kerala shethra samrakshna samithi. The main offerings to delight Devi are koottupayasam, thrimathuram and pushpanjalies. വീട്ടൂരിലെ പഞ്ചക്ഷേത്രങ്ങള്‍ എന്നറിയപ്പെടുന്നവായില്‍ ഒന്നാണ് അരുവിയ്ക്കല്‍ ക്ഷേത്രം. ദുര്‍ഗ്ഗാദേവിയാണ് പ്രധാന പ്രതിഷ്ഠ. ശാസ്താവും ഗണപതിയും ഉപ പ്രതിഷ്ഠകളായി ഇവിടെ നിലകൊള്ളുന്നു. പണ്ട് ഉപക്ഷേത്രമായി നിലനിന്നിരുന്ന ക്ഷേത്രം 1999 ജൂണ്‍ മാസം 6 തിയതി പുന:പ്രതിഷ്ഠ നടത്തി സ്വതന്ത്ര ക്ഷേത്രമായി മാറി. ഇപ്പോള്‍ കേരള ക്ഷേത്ര സംരക്ഷണ സമിതി ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം ഏറ്റെടുത്ത് ക്ഷേത്ര കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ നടത്തി കൊണ്ട് പോകുന്നു.
