Abbey falls is one of the important tourist spots in Coorg district. . The waterfall comes down from a height of 70 feet. There is also a hanging bridge across the gorge from which an exceptional view of this waterfall is available. This waterfall is at around 7 km from the Omkareshwara temple. ಅಬ್ಬೆ ಜಲಪಾತವು ಕೊಡುಗು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಆಕರ್ಷಕ ತಾಣಗಳಲ್ಲೊಂದಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಜಲಪಾತವು 70 ಅಡಿ ಎತ್ತರದಿಂದ ಧುಮುಕುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಜಲಪಾತದ ಎದುರಿಗಿರುವ ಸೇತುವೆಯಿಂದ ಈ ಜಲಪಾತದ ಒಂದು ವಿಹಂಗಮ ನೋಟವು ಲಭ್ಯವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಜಲಪಾತವು ಓಂಕಾರೇಶ್ವರ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದಿಂದ 7 ಕಿ ಮೀ ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿದೆ.

The Harangi Reservoir is located near Hudgur village, Somwarpet taluk in Kodagu district. The reservoir is formed by a masonry dam built across the river Harangi, a tributary of the Kaveri. Harangi dam is at 32 km from omkareshwara temple. ಹಾರಂಗಿ ಜಲಾಶಯವು ಕೊಡಗು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ, ಸೋಮವಾರಪೇಟೆ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಹುದ್ಗೂರಿನ ಬಳಿ ಇದೆ. ಇದು ಕಾವೇರಿಯ ಉಪನದಿಯಾದ ಹಾರಂಗಿಗೆ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿರುವ ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಜಲಾಶಯವಾಗಿದೆ. ಹಾರಂಗಿ ಜಲಾಶಯವು ಓಂಕಾರೇಶ್ವರ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದಿಂದ 32 ಕಿ ಮೀ ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿದೆ.

Nagarhole National Park is one of the best wildlife parks in India. One can find a large number of wildlife like elephants, tigers, bisons, etc. here. There are a large number of species of flora which are home for over 250 species of birds. The Nagarahole National park is at a distance of 88 km from the Omkareshwara temple. ನಾಗರಹೊಳೆಯು ದೇಶದ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ವನ್ಯಜೀವಿ ಉದ್ಯಾನವನಗಳಲ್ಲೊಂದಾಗಿದೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ, ಆನೆ, ಹುಲಿ, ಗೌರ್ ಮುಂತಾದ ಹಲವು ಬಗೆಯ ವನ್ಯಜೀವಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಣಬಹುದಾಗಿದೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಹಲವು ಬಗೆಯ ಗಿಡ ಮರಗಳಿದ್ದು, ಸುಮಾರು 250 ಬಗೆಯ ಹಕ್ಕಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾಣಬಹುದಾಗಿದೆ. ನಾಗರಹೊಳೆ ವನ್ಯಜೀವಿ ಉದ್ಯಾನವನವು ಓಂಕಾರೇಶ್ವರ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದಿಂದ 88 ಕಿ ಮೀ ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿದೆ.

Kaveri Nisargadhama is an island formed by river Kaveri near Kushalnagar in the district of Kodagu. It is a 64-acre island, with lush foliage of thick bamboo groves, sandalwood and teak trees. The island is accessible through a hanging rope bridge. There are deer, rabbits, peacocks, and a children's playground as well as an orchidarium. This island is at 27 km from the temple. ಕಾವೇರಿ ನಿಸರ್ಗಧಾಮವೂ, ಕೊಡಗು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಕುಶಾಲನಗರದ ಬಳಿಯಿರುವ ಕಾವೇರಿಯಲ್ಲಿನ ನಡುಗಡ್ಡೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದು ಸುಮಾರು 64 ಎಕರೆ ವಿಸ್ತೀರ್ಣದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು, ದಟ್ಟವಾದ ಬಿದುರಿನ, ಗಂಧದ ಹಾಗು ತೇಕ್ ಮರಗಳ ತೋಪುಗಳನ್ನೊಳಗೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಈ ನಡುಗಡ್ಡೆಗೆ ಸಂಪರ್ಕವಾಗಿ ಒಂದು ತೂಗು ಹಗ್ಗದ ಸೇತುವೆ ಇದೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ, ಜಿಂಕೆಗಳು, ಮೊಲಗಳು ಹಾಗು ನವಿಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾಣಬಹುದಾಗಿದೆ. ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಆಟಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಒಂದು ಆಟದ ಮೈದಾನ ಹಾಗು ಆರ್ಕಿಡೇರಿಯಮ್ ಗಳೂ ಇವೆ. ಈ ನಿಸರ್ಗಧಾಮವು ಓಂಕಾರೇಶ್ವರ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದಿಂದ 27 ಕಿ ಮೀ ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿದೆ.

Sri Bhagandeshwara temple is at Bhagamandala in Kodagu district of Karnataka. The temple is a famous pilgrimage centre due to the confluence of Cauvery, Kannike and the mythical Sujyoti rivers. The temple has been constructed in Kerala style of architecture. Idols of Sri Bhagandeshwara, Sri Subrahmanya, Sri Maha Vishnu and Sri Ganapati have been consecrated in this temple. ಶ್ರೀ ಭಗಂಡೇಶ್ವರ ದೇವಾಲಯವು ಕೊಡಗು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಭಾಗಮಂಡಲದಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಈ ದೇವಾಲಯವು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಯಾತ್ರಾ ಸ್ಥಳವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಕಾವೇರಿ, ಕನ್ನಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಗುಪ್ತಗಾಮಿನಿಯಾದ ಸುಜ್ಯೋತಿ ನದಿಗಳ ಸಂಗಮದಿಂದಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ದಿ ಪಡೆದಿದೆ. ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನವು ಕೇರಳ ಶೈಲಿಯ ವಾಸ್ತುಶಿಲ್ಪ ಹೊಂದಿದೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಭಗಂಡೇಶ್ವರ, ಶ್ರೀ ಸುಬ್ರಹ್ಮಣ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀ ಮಹಾವಿಷ್ಣು ದೇಗುಲಗಳಿವೆ. ಶ್ರೀ ಮಹಾಗಣಪತಿ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯು ದೇಗುಲದ ಹೊರ ಅಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿದೆ.

Madikeri Fort was first founded by Mudduraja in the second half of the 17th century. He also built a palace inside the fort. It was eventually rebuilt in granite by Tipu Sultan. In 1790, Dodda Vira Rajendra took control of the fort. The palace was renovated by Linga Rajendra II in 1812-1814. In the north-east corner at the entrance are two life size masonry elephants and a church is present in the south-east corner. Madikeri fort is at a distance of 500 mts from Omkareshwara temple. ಮಡಿಕೇರಿ ಕೋಟೆಯು ಮೊದಲು ಮುದ್ದುರಾಜ ಎಂಬುವನಿಂದ 17 ನೆೇ ಶತಮಾನದ ಪರಾರ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಮುದ್ದುರಾಜನು ಕೋಟೆಯ ಒಳಗೆ ಒಂದು ಅರಮನೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಅದನ್ನು ನಂತರ ಟೀಪು ಸುಲ್ತಾನನು ಅಗ್ನಿ ಶಿಲೆಯಿಂದ ಪುನರ್ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ. 1790 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಕೋಟೆಯು ದೊಡ್ಡ ವೀರ ರಾಜೇಂದ್ರನ ಅಧೀನದಲ್ಲಿತ್ತು. ನಂತರ, ಈ ಕೋಟೆಯನ್ನು ಎರಡನೇ ಲಿಂಗ ರಾಜೇಂದ್ರನು, 1812 -1814 ರಲ್ಲಿಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಪಡಿಸಿದನೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಬರುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಕೋಟೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಒಂದು ಚರ್ಚ್ ಇದ್ದು, ಕೋಟೆಯ ಈಶಾನ್ಯ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ಸಹಜ ಗಾತ್ರದ ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಆನೆಗಳಿವೆ. ಮಡಿಕೇರಿ ಕೋಟೆಯು ಓಂಕಾರೇಶ್ವರ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದಿಂದ 500 ಮೀ ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿದೆ.

Rajah Seat is a garden of flowers and artificial fountains. It is one of the most important tourist spots in madikeri of Coorg District. It is built on a high level ground with a commanding view of the surrounding cliffs and valleys. Watching sunset from here can be an lovely experience. This lovely spot was a favorite place of recreation for the kings of Kodagu and hence was permanently associated with them. This temple is one of the oldest temples in the district and is one of the most important temples in Kodagu. Sri Subrahmanya is worshipped as Sri Igguthappa here. Sri Igguthappa Deva is in the form of Shiva Linga here, along with the Snake Hood covering. Hence it is also known as Igguthappa Mahadeva, Subrahmanya, Subbaraaya and Eeshwara Igguthappa. Sri Igguthappa Deva is one of the most worshipped and a favourite deity among the people of Kodagu. ಇದು ಕೊಡಗು ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಪುರಾತನ ದೇವಾಲಯವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಕೊಡವರ ಅತಿ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ದೇವಾಲಯಗಳಲ್ಲೊಂದಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಸುಬ್ರಹ್ಮಣ್ಯ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಯನ್ನು ಶ್ರೀ ಇಗ್ಗುತಪ್ಪ ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರಿನಿಂದ ಪೂಜಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಇಗ್ಗುತಪ್ಪ ಮಹಾದೇವ ಮತ್ತು ಸುಬ್ರಹ್ಮಣ್ಯ, ಸುಬ್ಬರಾಯ, ಈಶ್ವರ ಇಗ್ಗುತಪ್ಪ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯುವರು. ಕೊಡಗಿನ ಜನತೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಶ್ರೀ ಸುಬ್ರಹ್ಮಣ್ಯ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಯನ್ನು ಕುಲದೇವತೆ ಅಥವಾ ಇಷ್ಟ ದೇವತೆ ಎಂದು ಪೂಜಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
