ಬಳ್ಳಾರಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ ಹೊಸಪೇಟೆ ಬಳಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ-ಆಂಧ್ರಪ್ರದೇಶ ಸರ್ಕಾರಗಳು ಜಂಟಿಯಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿರುವ ತುಂಗಭದ್ರಾ ಅಣೆಕಟ್ಟೆ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಅತಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಅಣೆಕಟ್ಟೆ ಎನ್ನುವ ಹಿರಿಮೆಗೆ ಪಾತ್ರವಾಗಿದೆ. 2441ಮೀಟರ್ ಉದ್ದ ಹಾಗೂ 49.38 ಮೀಟರ್ ಎತ್ತರ ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ತುಂಗಭದ್ರಾ ಅಣೆಕಟ್ಟು ನೀರಾವರಿ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಗೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಈ ಅಣೆಕಟ್ಟು ಹಂಪಿಯಿಂದ ೧೫ ಕಿ ಮೀ ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿದೆ. The Tungabhadra Dam is constructed across the Tungabhadra River, a tributary of the Krishna River. The dam is near the town of Hospet in Karnataka and is jointly constructed by the governments of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. It is a multipurpose dam serving irrigation, electricity generation, flood control, etc. The dam is the largest dam in the state with a length of 2441 mtr and height of 49.38 mtrs. This dam is at 15 km from Hampi.

ಬಳ್ಳಾರಿ ಕೋಟೆಯು ಬಳ್ಳಾರಿಯ ಬಳ್ಳಾರಿಗುಡ್ಡದಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಈ ಕೋಟೆಯನ್ನು ೨ ಭಾಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಟ್ಟಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಮೇಲಿನ ಭಾಗವನ್ನು ವಿಜಯನಗರ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾನದ ಸಾಮಂತ ರಾಜನಾಗಿದ್ದ ಹನುಮಂತ ನಾಯಕ ಎಂಬುವವನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದನು. ಕೋಟೆಯ ಕೆಳಗಿನ ಭಾಗವನ್ನು ಹೈದೆರ್ ಅಲಿಯು ೧೮ ನೆೇ ಶತಮಾನದ ಉತ್ತರಾರ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದನು. ಇದು ಹಂಪಿಯಿಂದ 72 ಕಿ ಮೀ ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿದೆ. The Bellary Fort was built on top of a hill called the "Ballari Gudda" or the Fort Hill. It is situated in the historic city of Bellary, in the Bellary district, in Karnataka state, India. It was built in two parts namely, the Upper Fort and the Lower Fort. The Upper Fort was built by Hanumappa Nayaka, a feudatory of Vijayanagara Empire, but the Lower Fort was built by Hyder Ali in later part of the 18th century. It is at 72 km from Hampi.

ದರೋಜಿ ಕರಡಿ ಅಭಯಾರಣ್ಯವು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಬೆಳ್ಳಾರಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಈ ಅಭಯಾರಣ್ಯವು ಸುಮಾರು 82 ಚದರ ಕಿ ಮೀ ಅಷ್ಟು ವಿಸ್ತೀರ್ಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಹರಡಿದೆ. ಈ ಅಭಯಾರಣ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕರಡಿಗಳ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಉದ್ದೇಶದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಸಂಡೂರು ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ದರೋಜಿ ಮತ್ತು ಹೊಸಪೇಟೆ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ರಾಮಸಾಗರದ ನಡುವೆ ಹಲವಾರು ಕರಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂರಕ್ಷಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ದರೋಜಿಯು ಬೆಳ್ಳಾರಿಯಿಂದ 50 ಕಿ ಮೀ ಹಾಗು ಹಂಪಿಯಿಂದ 15 ಕಿ ಮೀ ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿದೆ. Daroji Sloth Bear Sanctuary is located in Ballari district in Karnataka. It is spread over 82.72 km2 (31.94 sq mi). The sanctuary was created exclusively for the preservation of Indian Sloth Bear. It is about 50 km from Ballari and about 15 km from the World heritage site Hampi. The area between Daroji in Sandur taluk and Ramasagar of Hospet Taluk is host to numerous Indian Sloth Bears.
