Kaiwara is a pilgrimage center in Chikkaballapura district of Karnataka. This place was called as “Ekachakranagar” during Dwapara Yuga. This is at a distance of about 46 Kms from Nandi hills. It is said that the Pandavas had come here during their exile. The Bheemalingeshwara temple here is said to have been established by Bheemasena himself. This place was also called as Kaiwaranadu. The place is also famous because of the birth of a great spiritualist and soothsayer, Sri Yogi Narayana Yateendra. ಕೈವಾರ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಚಿಕ್ಕಬಳ್ಳಾಪುರ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಒಂದು ಪುಣ್ಯಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ. ಕೈವಾರದ ಅಮರನಾರಾಯಣಕ್ಷೇತ್ರವು ನಂದಿಬೆಟ್ಟದಿಂದ ಸುಮಾರು 46 ಕಿ.ಮೀ. ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ದ್ವಾಪರಯುಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದು ಏಕಚಕ್ರನಗರ. ಪಾಂಡವರು ವನವಾಸದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾಗ ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದರು. ಇಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಭೀಮಲಿಂಗೇಶ್ವರ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನ ಭಿಮಸೇನ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿದನೆಂದು ಐತಿಹ್ಯವಿದೆ. ಇದಕ್ಕೆ "ಕೈವಾರನಾಡು" ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರೂ ಇತ್ತೆಂಬ ಉಲ್ಲೇಖವಿದೆ. ಮಹಾನ್ ಸಂತ ಕಾಲಜ್ಞಾನ-ಭವಿಷ್ಯವಾಣಿ ನುಡಿದ ಶ್ರೀ ಯೋಗಿನಾರೇಯಣ ಯತೀಂದ್ರರು ಜನ್ಮವೆತ್ತಿದ ಸ್ಥಳವಿದು.

Sri Ghati Subrahmanya is an ancient temple located near Tubagere in taluk headquarters Doddaballapur. This temple is at about 14 km from Doddaballapur and about 32 Kms from Nandi hills. The uniqueness of this popular pilgrimage centre is that the presiding deity of Sri Kartikeyan, who is also known as Subrahmanya, Kumaraswamy and so on, is found together with Lord Narasihma. Sri Ghati Subrahmanya is an important spiritual centre for snake worship. Special rituals are performed during Brahmarathotsav, which occurs on Pushya Shuddha Shashti. Sri Narasihma Jayanti is another prominent festival celebrated at this holy place. Rangasthala is situated near Chikkaballapura about 11 Kms from Nandi hills and at around 59 kms from Bengaluru. The main attraction of Rangasthala is a beautiful temple of Lord Ranganatha Swamy (lord Visnu). The idols of lord Ranganatha at Rangasthala, Srirangam and Srirangapatna are believed to have been installed on same day and at the same time. Sri Vidhurashwatha temple is in Gauribidanur Taluk of Kolar District in Karnataka and is situated on the banks of north Pinakini river. This place at a distance of about 48 Kms from Nandi hills. This temple is the conflux of Sri Brahma, Sri Vishnu and Sri Maheshwara.
