Hill Palace is the largest archaeological museum in Kerala and located at about 11km from Cochin. It was the Imperial Administrative offices and official residence of Cochin Maharaja .

Chottanikkara Devi Temple is a famous temple of mother goddess Shakthi Devi as Sri Bhagavathi. Maha Lakshmi is supposed to be residing in Chottanikkara along with Lord Vishnu. It is located at 16 km away from Ernakulam town.
