This seva is done on full moon day. The Lord will be adorned with pure butter under this Seva. This is one of the ways of propitiating the Lord. The butter smeared on the idol of the Lord will be given to the devotee on the next day as Prasad. ಶುದ್ಧವಾದ ಬೆಣ್ಣೆಯಿಂದ ಭಗವಂತನನ್ನು ಸಿಂಗರಿಸುವ ಸೇವೆಯಿಂದ ಭಗವಂತನು ಸಂಪ್ರೀತನಾಗುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಈ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದವರು ಮರುದಿನ ಪ್ರಸಾದರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರ ಮೂರ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಅಲಂಕರಿಸಿದ ಬೆಣ್ಣೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಸಾದ ರೂಪವಾಗಿ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದು.
