In any temple, the prakara or the surrounding area of the temple is most auspicious. It has the presence of all gods around it. After the initial pooja, the prakarotsava is offered wherein the Utsava Murthy is taken around the inner walls of the temple. The sevakarta is made to follow the lord around the surroundings of the temple. It is performed three times and is offered worship every time. ಗರ್ಭಗುಡಿಯ ಸುತ್ತಲಿನ ಪ್ರಾಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ಸವ ಮೂರ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತೊಯ್ದು ಬರಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಹೀಗೆ ಮೂರು ಸುತ್ತು ಬರಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಪ್ರತೀ ಬಾರಿ ಉತ್ಸವ ಮೂರ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಗರ್ಭಗುಡಿಯ ಮುಂದೆ ಪೂಜಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಸೇವಾಕರ್ತರು ಉತ್ಸವ ಮೂರ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊರಲು ಅವಕಾಶವಿರುತ್ತದೆ.
