Sri Gurupadaswamy Sevashram at Harapanahalli in Davangere district, Karnataka, India has been a beacon of hope for orphans, students and farmers.

This over 25-year-old social service organisation has been rendering yeoman service to the world by creating a society of poor, orphan and downtrodden children free from the discrimination based on caste, creed, religion or community. This Ashram is also providing education to the children.

ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಹರಪನಹಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಶ್ರೀ ಗುರುಪಾದಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಸೇವಾಶ್ರಮವು ಅನಾಥರು, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ರೈತರಿಗೆ ಆಶಾ ದೀಪವಾಗಿದೆ.

ಸುಮಾರು ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೈದು ವರ್ಷಗಳಷ್ಟು ಹಳೆಯದಾಗಿರುವ ಶ್ರೀ ಗುರುಪಾದಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಸೇವಾಶ್ರಮವು ದೀನ ದಲಿತ ಹಾಗೂ ಅನಾಥ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಆಶ್ರಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀಡುವಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಶಂಸಣೀಯ ಪ್ರಗತಿ ಸಾಧಿಸಿದೆ. ಈ ಆಶ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾತಿ, ಮತ, ಪಂಥ, ಪಂಗಡಗಳೆಂಬ ಪ್ರಭೇದವಿಲ್ಲದ, ಮುಕ್ತ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ವಾತಾವರಣವನ್ನು ಸೃಟಿಸುವುದರ ಮೂಲಕ ಆಧುನಿಕ ಜಗತ್ತಿಗೆ ಅತ್ತ್ಯಮೂಲ್ಯ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆಯೆಂದಾರೆ ಅತಿಶೋಕ್ತಿಯಾಗಳಾರದು.
