“Sri Padmavati Venkateswaraswami Temple” is located at Jayanagar west in Tumkur, is an important shrine. The sanctum-sanctorum houses the standing idol of Magnificient Lord “Sri Venkateswara” with ‘Shankha’ and ‘Chakra’ is a wonderful structure. Apart from the main deity his consort Goddess “Sri Padmavati” and “Sri Andal” are also consecrated in a smaller shrines. The temple has a big “Rajagopura”, which dictates Beautiful, Modern and Artistic construction. Within The temple also houses smaller shrines for Lord “Sri Sathyanarayana Swamy”, “Sri Vedanta Deshikar”, “Srivaishnava Yathis” and “Utsava Moorthy”. On either side of Mukhyadwara (Main Door), the Idol of Lord “Sri Balaganapathi” and Lord Sri Anjaneya Swamy” in sitting position, is pleasing to eyes. This temple attracts many devotees across the state.

This popular temple in Tumkur city, is the most visited place during “Annual Brahmotsava” and “Navaratri festival”. Every Month large number of devotee’s visit the temple to attend “Sathyanarayana Pooja” on every Full Moon and Sankashtahara Chaturthi.

ತುಮಕೂರಿನ ಜಯನಗರ(ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ) ಬಡಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಪದ್ಮಾವತಿ ವೆಂಕಟೇಶ್ವರ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ದೇವಾಲಯವಿದೆ. ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ದೇವರುಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ವೆಂಕಟೇಶ್ವರ, ಶ್ರೀ ಪದ್ಮಾವತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀ ಆಂಡಾಳ್ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಆಕರ್ಷಣೆ. ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದ ಮುಖ್ಯದ್ವಾರದ ನಮ್ಮ ಎಡಗಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಬಾಲಗಣಪತಿ ಹಾಗು ಬಲಗಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತ ಭಂಗಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಶ್ರೀ ಆಂಜನೇಯ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಯ ದರ್ಶನವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಭವ್ಯವಾದ ರಾಜಗೋಪುರವಿದೆ. ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಮಂದಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಸತ್ಯನಾರಾಯಣ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ, ಶ್ರೀವೈಷ್ಣವ ಯತಿಗಳು, ಪಂಚಲೋಹದ ಗರುಡ ಮತ್ತು ಉತ್ಸವ ಮೂರ್ತಿಗಳಿವೆ. ಈ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನವು ದೇಶದ ಹಲವಾರು ಭಾಗಗಳಿಂದ ಭಕ್ತರನ್ನು ತನ್ನತ್ತ ಸೆಳೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ.

ನವರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ವೆಂಕಟೇಶ್ವರ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಗೆ 9 ದಿನಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಪ್ರತಿನಿತ್ಯ ವಿವಿಧ ಅಲಂಕಾರ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಶೇಷ ಪೂಜೆಗಳು ನಡೆಯುತ್ತದೆ. ಜನವರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀಪದ್ಮಾವತಿ ವೆಂಕಟೇಶ್ವರ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಗೆ ನಡೆಯುವ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮರಥೋತ್ಸವದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಕ್ತರು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
