The fond full Bala Bhadra Devi to her devotees is Veettoor Kavilamma present in the well famed ‘Pancha kshethrams’ , one at Veettoor a place near to Muvattupuzha of Ernakulam district. Here, Devi has her ‘sudden appearance’ – action bhava, both in blessing and / or in curse. She but vanquishes the enemies of her devotees fans, offers those marriage and long-married auspicious life. She is fond full of Kadumpayasam and Guruthi Pooja. On Aswathi and Bharani star dates in the month of Meenam , the grand festival comes, on special days like Navarathri and Makam Thozhal. The temple opens earlier in the evenings.
