Ambaji - Shamlaji Darshan

Shamalaji as one of the pilgrim temples in Modasa of Aravali district. It is more commonly known among locals as Dhodi Dhwaja Wada, because it always has a white silk flag fluttering on top. The temple has a sculpture of Lord Krishna as Shamdiya Bhagwan, with a piece of real diamond embossed on his chin. Ambaji Shakti Peeth, is dedicated to goddess Sati - consort of Lord Shiva. The shrine of Amba is regarded as a revered shrine by the followers of Hinduism as it is one of the 51 Shakti Peetha.
