Narasimha Swamy Temple in Namakkal is dedicated to the god Narasimha, an avatar of Vishnu. The temple is constructed in the Dravidian style and Rock-cut architecture. The legend of the temple is associated with Narasimha, an avatar of the god Vishnu to kill the demon Hiranyakashyapu.
