Kanyakumari - Srivilliputhur - Madurai Darshan

Kanyakumari has a temple of goddess Kumari Amman and Triveni Sangam. Suchindram temple dedicated to Sthanumalayam near Kanyakumari is famous for its sculptures and its pillars emitting the sounds of various musical notes when struck. There is an Anjaneya, (or Hanuman), a state which stands at 22 feet and is carved of single granite block. Srivilliputhur Temple is dedicated to Lord Vatapatrasayee. The 11-tiered tower of this temple rises 192 feet high and is the official symbol of Government of Tamil Nadu. Madurai is a historic temple city located on the southern bank of the Vaigai River famous for Meenakshi Amman Temple.
