Srivilliputhur & Kanyakumari Darshan

Srivilliputhur is having the most important landmark of 11-tiered tower structure dedicated to the Lord of Srivilliputhur, known as Vatapatrasayee. The tower of this temple rises 192 feet high and is the official symbol of the Government of Tamilnadu. The Suchindram Temple near Kanyakumari is famous for its sculptures. The main deity of the temple is Sthanumalyam. The temple is knowns for its quality of workmanship in stone. There are four musical pillars carved out of a single stone, and they emit the sounds of various musical notes when struck. There is an Anjaneya, (or Hanuman), a statue which stands at 22 feet and is carved of a single granite block. Kanyakumari has a temple of goddess Kumari Amman and Triveni Sangam.
