Deaths due to accident, fire, drowning, fall or suicide is reckoned as Akaala Durmarana or simply, Akaala Marana. When such a death occurred, it is advisable to perform Narayanabali, Nagabali, Tila homa, Tripindi Shraddha or Akaala Durmarana Shanti in the name of the departed to reduce the impact of Pitru dosha to the survivors.
