Sri Adi Brahmalingeswara Temple is located in a village called Dharmachavadi (also known as Moodu Palimaru) in Udupi district. Dharmachavadi is about two km from Palimar and about 32 km from Udupi. Lord Sri Adi Brahmalingeswara is the main deity of this temple. Idols of Goddess Parvati and Lord Siddhi Vinayaka Swamy have also been consecrated here. Shivaratri, the main festival of the temple, is celebrated in a grand manner. At present, Sri Palimar Mutt, which is one among the Ashta Mutts of Udupi, is looking after the temple’s Administration.
ಶ್ರೀ ಆದಿಬ್ರಹ್ಮಲಿಂಗೇಶ್ವರ ದೇವಾಲಯವು ಉಡುಪಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಧರ್ಮಚಾವಡಿ (ಮೂಡು ಪಲಿಮಾರು) ಎಂಬ ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಈ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ದೇವತೆ ಶ್ರೀ ಆದಿಬ್ರಹ್ಮಲಿಂಗೇಶ್ವರ. ಈ ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಪಾರ್ವತೀದೇವಿ, ಶ್ರೀ ಸಿದ್ಢಿ ವಿನಾಯಕನ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾಪಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿವರಾತ್ರಿ ಆಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ವಿಜೃಂಭಣೆಯಿಂದ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ, ಉಡುಪಿಯ ಅಷ್ಟಮಠಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಪಲಿಮಾರು ಮಠವು ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಆಡಳಿತವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ.
