Some 80 years back the esteemed Padmalayam Sri Krishnan Nair was, for his personal puja and prayers executing a temple. Sabarimala Dharmashastha was his every God and all. The temple after his demise was conceded to the public. In the model and style of Bhajana madoms, placing a picture of Lord Ayyappa in Mandala Kalam for Puja , Bhajan etc in the evenings was undertaken by the Kshethra Samrakshana Samithi in 1997. On 2008 June, Sri Malappattillam Kesavan Nambudiri was taking charge as Melshanthi. By the assistance of Kazhakam Sri Mohanan and the well joined cooperation of the committee, in the month of Meenam in the year 2010 the Idolization and everything was over. It was a Thiruvonam date to remember. ഏകദേശം 80 വര്‍ഷങ്ങള്‍ക്കുമുന്‍പ്‌ പത്മാലയo ശ്രീ കൃഷ്ണന്‍ നായര്‍, ശബരിമല ശാസ്താ സങ്കല്‍പത്തില്‍ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ആരാധനക്കായി സ്ഥാപിച്ച് പൂജിച്ചു വന്നിരുന്ന ക്ഷേത്രം, അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ കാലശേഷം ഭക്ത ജനങ്ങള്‍ക്കായി വിട്ടുനല്‍കുകയായിരുന്നു. അയ്യപ്പസ്വാമിയുടെ ഫോട്ടോ വെച്ച് ഭജനമഠം മാതൃകയില്‍, മണ്ഡലകാലത്ത് മാത്രം നടതുറന്നു ആഘോഷങ്ങള്‍ നടത്തിയിരുന്ന ക്ഷേത്രം 1997 ല്‍ കേരള ക്ഷേത്രസംരക്ഷണ സമിതി ഏറ്റെടുത്തു. 2008 ജൂണ്‍ മാസത്തില്‍ ശ്രീ മലപ്പാട്ടില്ലം കേശവന്‍ നമ്പൂതിരി ക്ഷേത്രത്തിന്‍റെ മേല്‍ശാന്തിയായി സ്ഥാനമേറ്റു. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെയും ക്ഷേത്രം കഴകം ശ്രീ മോഹനന്റെയും കമ്മിറ്റിക്കാരുടെയും ശ്രമഫലമായി 2010 മീനമാസത്തിലെ തിരുവോണനാളില്‍ വിഗ്രഹ പ്രതിഷ്ഠ നടത്തി.
