Earlier, the temple area belonged to the Housing Board Co-Operative Association of P&T Employees, later it was donated to the temple. The temple deities were consecrated by the present seer of “Sri Hariharapura Matha” on 17-03-1986. As a part of inauguration ceremony various poojas were performed, which includes “Kalasha Prathishtapane”, “Homa” and “Kumbhabhisheka”. Lord “Sri Sathyanarayana Swamy” and Sri Amrutheshwara temples were consecrated during the occasion. Over a period of time, smaller shrine for “Lord Sri Panchamukhi Anjaneya”, Goddess “Sri Durga Parameshawari” and Lord “Sri Subramanya Swamy” were also consecrated to sanctify the temple. A committee was also set up to look after the administration of the temple. ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದ ನಿವೇಶನವು ಮೊದಲಿಗೆ P&T ನೌಕರರ ಗೃಹನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಸಹಕಾರ ಸಂಘಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿದ್ದು, ಕಾಲಾಂತರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸದರಿ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಹಸ್ತಾಂತರಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂಬ ಹೇಳಿಕೆ ಇದೆ. 17-03-1986 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಸಂಕಷ್ಟಹರ ಗಣಪತಿ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾಪನಾ ವಿಧಿಗಳು, ಹೋಮ, ಕಲಶಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾಪನೆ, ಕುಂಭಾಭಿಷೇಕಗಳನ್ನು ಹರಿಹರಪುರ ಮಠದ ಪೂಜ್ಯ ಸ್ವಾಮೀಜಿಗಳ ಅಮೃತ ಹಸ್ತದಿಂದ ನಡೆಸಿ, ಇದೇ ಸಂಧರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಮೃತೇಶ್ವರ ಹಾಗು ಶ್ರೀ ಸತ್ಯನಾರಾಯಣ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ದೇವರುಗಳ ವಿಗ್ರಹವನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕಾಲಾನುಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ನವಗ್ರಹಗಳು, ಪಂಚಮುಖಿ ಆಂಜನೇಯ, ದುರ್ಗಾ ಪರಮೇಶ್ವರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸುಬ್ರಮಣ್ಯ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದ ಆಡಳಿತವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಒಂದು ಸಮಿತಿಯನ್ನು ರಚಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಸಮಿತಿಯು ಇಂದಿಗೂ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದ ಕಾರ್ಯಭಾರವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತ ಬಂದಿದೆ.
