Sri Anjaneya Swamy temple is about 100 years old. Smt. Kamalamma and Sri Udupi Krishna Das received as donation, the rock containing the Udbhava Murthy of Sri Anjaneya Swamy and the site where the rock was found. The temple was under their care and maintenance. Later on, their daughter Smt. Indiramma, being issueless, handed over the temple to Sri Pejawar matha, Udupi, through Sri Maruthi Seva Trust(R). Henceforth, Sri Pejawara Mutt is looking after the temple administration. The temple was renovated recently in 2014. Renovation work started under the auspicious leadership of Sri Sri Vishwesha Tirtharu. Renovation included the construction of new Rajagopura, Sabha Mantapa in the first floor and Yaga Shala in the second floor. ಶ್ರೀ ಆಂಜನೇಯಸ್ವಾಮಿ ದೇವಾಲಯವು ಸುಮಾರು ನೂರು ವರ್ಷಗಳಷ್ಟು ಹಳೆಯದಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಹಿಂದೆ, ಉಡುಪಿಯ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಕಮಲಮ್ಮ ಹಾಗು ಶ್ರೀ ಕೃಷ್ಣದಾಸ್ ಇವರಿಗೆ, ಮಾವಳ್ಳಿ ಬಡಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಉದ್ಭವ ಆಂಜನೇಯಸ್ವಾಮಿಯ ಶಿಲೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಈ ನಿವೇಶನವನ್ನು ಭಕ್ತರು ದಾನರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ದಂಪತಿಗಳು ಶ್ರೀ ಆಂಜನೇಯ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಯ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ನಿರ್ವಿಘ್ನವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ನಂತರದಲ್ಲಿ ಇವರ ಮಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಇಂದಿರಮ್ಮನವರು ತಮಗೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಲ್ಲದ ಕಾರಣ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದ ಮುಂದಿನ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆಗಾಗಿ ಸುಮಾರು 1990 ನೇ ಇಸವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉಡುಪಿಯ ಅಷ್ಟಮಠಗಳಲ್ಲೊಂದಾದ ಪೇಜಾವರ ಮಠಕ್ಕೆ, ಶ್ರೀ ಮಾರುತಿ ಸೇವಾ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್(ರಿ) ಮೂಲಕ ಹಸ್ತಾಂತರಿಸಿದರು ಎಂಬ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಇದೆ. ತರುವಾಯ ಸುಮಾರು 2014-2015 ರಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಜೀರ್ಣೋದ್ಧಾರ ಕಾರ್ಯವು ಶ್ರೀ ಶ್ರೀ ಪೇಜಾವರತೀರ್ಥರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದು ದೇವಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ನೂತನ ರಾಜಗೋಪುರ, ದೇಗುಲದ ಮೊದಲನೇ ಮಹಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಭಾಮಂಟಪ( ನಾಮಕರಣ, ಪ್ರವಚನ ಮುಂತಾದವುಗಳಿಗೆ) ಎರಡನೇ ಮಹಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾಗ ಶಾಲೆಯನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.
