This temple was inaugurated in the year 1988. Before the construction of the temple, a group of interested devotees and likeminded people formed Sri Vigneshwara Sarvajanika Vishwasta Mandali and planned about the temple. Lord Vigneshwara carved in balckstone, is the main deity. Later on, the idols of Sri Vaidyanatheswara Swamy, Sanjeevini Anjaneya, Balasubramanya, Navagraha Gods, Sri Vishnu, Sri Durga, Sri Dakshinamurthy and Sri Kalabhairaveshwara Swamy were all installed in the temple premises. ದೇವಾಲಯವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸುವ ಮುನ್ನ ಶ್ರೀ ವಿಘ್ನೇಶ್ವರ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ವಿಶ್ವಸ್ಥ ಮಂಡಳಿ ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಸಮಿತಿಯನ್ನು ರಚಿಸಿ, ತದನಂತರದಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಕಟ್ಟಡ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಮುಂದುವರೆಸಲಾಯಿತು. ವಿಘ್ನೇಶ್ವರನ ಮೂರ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಶಿಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆತ್ತಿಸಿ, ಸುಮಾರು 1988 ರಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಧಿಪೂರ್ವಕ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾಪನಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಕ್ರಮೇಣ ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವೈದ್ಯನಾಥೇಶ್ವರ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ, ಸಂಜೀವಿನಿ ಆಂಜನೇಯ, ಬಾಲ ಸುಬ್ರಹ್ಮಣ್ಯ, ನವಗ್ರಹ ದೇವತೆಗಳ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಪ್ರಾಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ವಿಷ್ಣು, ಶ್ರೀ ದುರ್ಗಾ ಶ್ರೀ ದಕ್ಷಿಣಾಮೂರ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀ ಕಾಲಭೈರವೇಶ್ವರಸ್ವಾಮಿಯವರ ದೇಗುಲಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
