ಕೊದಿಲಿಂಗಮ್ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನ ರಸ್ತೆ, ಘಟ್ಟಕಾಮಡೇನಹಳ್ಳಿ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ೫೬೩೧೨೧ ಕೋಟಿಲಿಂಗೇಶ್ವರ ದೇವಾಲಯವು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಸಮೀಪದ ಕೋಲಾರ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಕಮ್ಮಸಂದ್ರ ಹಳ್ಳಿಯಲಿದೆ. ಈ ದೇವಾಲಯವು ಕೋಲಾರ ಗೋಲ್ಡ್ ಫೀಲ್ಡ್ಸ್ ನಿಂದ ಸುಮಾರು ೬ ಕಿ ಮೀ ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಇದನ್ನು ಕೆಜಿಫ್ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಬಂಗಾಪೇಟೆಯಿಂದ ೧೩ ಕಿ. ಮೀ ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಕೋಟಿಲಿಂಗೇಶ್ವರ ದೇವಾಲಯವು ಕಮ್ಮಸಂದ್ರ ಹಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಗೊಂಡಿದೆ, ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ಆರಾಧ್ಯ ದೈವ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧವಾದ ಕೋಟಿಲಿಂಗೇಶ್ವರ. ಈ ದೇವಾಲಯವು ೧೯೭೨ ರಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಶ್ರೀ ಶ್ರೀ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಸಾಂಬಾ ಶಿವ ಮೂರ್ತಿ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದರು. ಈ ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಏಷ್ಯಾದಲ್ಲೇ ಅತೀ ಎತ್ತರದ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಲಿಂಗ ೧೦೮ ಅಡಿ (೩೩ ಮೀ) ಹೊಂದಿದೆ. ಇದರ ಮುಂದೆ, ೩೫ ಅಡಿ (೧೧ ಮೀ) ಎತ್ತರದ ಬೃಹತ್ ನಂದಿ ಇದೆ. ಕೋಟಿಲಿಂಗೇಶ್ವರ ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಸುತಮುತ್ತಲೂ ವಿವಿಧ ದೇವತೆಗಳ ೧೧ ಸಣ್ಣ ಗುಡಿಗಳಿವೆ. ಮೊದಲಿಗೆ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮ, ವಿಷ್ಣು ಮತ್ತು ಮಹೇಶ್ವರ, ವೆಂಕಟರಮಣ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ, ಅನ್ನಪೂರ್ಣೇಶ್ವರಿ, ಪಾಂಡುರಂಗ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ, ಪಂಚಮುಖಿ ಗಣಪತಿ, ಶ್ರೀರಾಮ, ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣ ಮತ್ತು ಸೀತೆ, ಆಂಜನೇಯ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನ, ಕನ್ನಿಕಾ ಪರಮೇಶ್ವರಿ ದೇವಾಲಯಗಳಿವೆ. ಕನ್ನಿಕಾ ಪರಮೇಶ್ವರಿ ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಶಿವಲಿಂಗವಿದೆ ಇದನ್ನು ‘ಶಿವ ಪಂಚಾಯತಿ’ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಪ್ರತಿ ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನ ಅನ್ನದಾನ (ಉಚಿತ ಆಹಾರ) ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಭಕ್ತರಿಗೂ ಒದಗಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಅಂತರಗಂಗೆ ದೇವಾಲಯ, ವಿಭೂತಿಪುರ, ಕೋಲಾರ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ 563101 ಅಂತರಗಂಗೆ ಎಂಬ ಪದದ ಅರ್ಥ ಭೂಮಿಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಉದಯಿಸಿದ ಗಂಗೆ ಎಂದು. ಇದನ್ನು ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಕಾಶಿ ಎಂದೂ ಕರೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಶಿ ವಿಶ್ವೇಶ್ವರ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಯ ದೇವಾಲಯವಿದೆ. ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ನೈಸರ್ಗಿಕ ಗುಹೆಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ವಿವಿಧ ಶಿಖರಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾಣಬಹುದು. ಅಂತರಗಂಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಶುರಾಮ ಹಾಗೂ ಜಮದಗ್ನಿಯ ಕಥೆಗಳು ಹೆಣೆದುಕೊಂಡಿವೆ. ಕಾರ್ತವೀರ್ಯಾರ್ಜುನನು ಪರಶುರಾಮನಿಂದ ಕೊಲಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು, ಜಮದಗ್ನಿಯನ್ನು ಕಾರ್ತವೀರ್ಯಾರ್ಜುನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದು ಹಾಗೂ ರೇಣುಕೆ ಶಿಲೆಯಾಗಿ ನಿಂತಿರುವ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆ ಈ ಶಿಲೆಗಳಿಗಿದೆ.ಕಾಶಿ ವಿಶ್ವೇಶ್ವರ ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಕೆರೆಯಿಂದ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಕೆರೆಗೆ ಬಸವನ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ಹೋಲುವ ಶಿಖರದ ಮೂಲಕ ಹರಿವ ಝರಿಯಿಂದ ನೀರು ಬರುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಝರಿಯ ಮೂಲಸ್ಥಳ ಯಾವುದೆಂಬುದು ಇಂದಿಗೂ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಯಾಗಿಯೇ ಉಳಿದಿದೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅಂತರಗಂಗೆ ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ.
