Vazhani Dam is a clay dam built in 1962, which is a rare one – Distance 10 KM from the temple. പരമ്പരാഗത രീതിയിൽ പൂർണ്ണമായും മണ്ണുകൊണ്ടു നിർമ്മിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന അപൂർവ്വം അണക്കെട്ടുകളിൽ ഒന്നായ വാഴാനി അണക്കെട്ട് – 10 കിലോ മീറ്റര്‍ ദൂരം.

Thanikkudam Bhagavathi Temple is located in Thanikkudam at a distance of some 5 KMs from Perayil Bhagawathi Temple. The araattu ceremony starts when the nearby River overflows in the Monsoon and submerges the idol in the temple. Devotees take a dip in the water along with the idol during the araattu ceremony. പേരയില്‍ ഭഗവതി ക്ഷേത്രത്തില്‍ നിന്ന്‍ ഏകദേശം 5 കിലോ മീറ്റര്‍ ദൂരത്തായി സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്ന പ്രശസ്തമായ ദേവീ ക്ഷേത്രമാണ് താണിക്കുടം ഭഗവതി ക്ഷേത്രം. മിക്ക ആണ്ടുകളിലും കാലവർഷ സമയത്ത് രണ്ടോ മൂന്നോ പ്രാവശ്യം സമീപത്തെ പുഴയിലെ വെള്ളം കയറിയുണ്ടാകുന്ന സ്വാഭാവിക ‘ആറാട്ട്’ എന്ന പ്രതിഭാസമാണ് ഇവിടത്തെ പ്രധാന പ്രത്യേകത.

Paramekkavu Bagavathi Temple is one of the largest Bagavathi temples in Kerala located in Thrissur City. തൃശ്ശൂർ പൂരത്തിന്റെ മുഖ്യ പങ്കാളികളിൽ ഒന്നായ ക്ഷേത്രമാണ് പാറമേക്കാവ് ക്ഷേത്രം സ്വരാജ് റൌണ്ടിന്റെ കിഴക്കുഭാഗത്തായി സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നു. ഭഗവതിയാണ് ഈ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ പ്രതിഷ്ഠ.

Vadakkunnathan Temple is one of the most ancient temples in Kerala, dedicated to Lord Shiva, locating in the heart of the Thrissur City. Thiruvambadi Sri Krishna Temple is an old and famous temple. The temple is also one of the two opposite groups participating in Thrissur Pooram, the world famous temple festival in Kerala.
