The "Kote Anjaneya" is a shrine dedicated to the Lord "Sri Anjaneya". The popular temple located in Tumkur, has Lord "Sri Anjaneya" as the main deity. The entrance of the temple has gigantic statue of Lord "Sri Hanuman", which is 75 feet tall, inaugurated in 2005. The gigantic statue in the standing posture has "Rama" and "Laxman" over his shoulders. The sanctum-sanctorum houses the standing idol of Sri Hanuman, engraved in black stone, is a spectacular structure. The temple also houses other idols such as Lord Ganesha (in the form of Panchamukhi Ganapathi) and, Navagraha gods in its premises. The popular temple is visited by devotees across various states throughout the year. While on special occasions and festivals like Annual "Hanuman Jayanti" and "Sri Rama Navami" the temple witness huge number of devotees, making it the most-visited place.
