Every month sun moves from one constellation to the other. This day is considered as very auspicious day and special puja is conducted to please the deity. ಪ್ರತೀ ತಿಂಗಳು ಸೂರ್ಯನು ಒಂದುರಾಶಿಯಿಂದ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ರಾಶಿಗೆ ಚಲಿಸುವ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಸಂಕ್ರಮಣ ದಿನವೆನ್ನುವರು. ಅಂತಹ ದಿನವು ಪರ್ವಕಾಲವೆನಿಸಿದ್ದು. ಆ ದಿನದಂದು ಈ ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶೇಷ ಪೂಜೆ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
