Under Tulabhara Seva, the Sevakarta is required to place pulses, cereals, grains, money, silver or gold on one side of the balance to make it equal to the weight of the Lord placed on the other side of the balance. All those offered on one side by the devotee will have to be surrendered to the Mutt, which is considered to be very meritorious. ತುಲಾಭಾರ ಸೇವೆಯು ಸೇವಾಕರ್ತರಷ್ಟೇ ತೂಕವಿರುವ ಧಾನ್ಯ, ನಾಣ್ಯಗಳಿಂದ ಸರಿದೂಗಿಸಿ ಅದನ್ನು ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಬೇಕು. ಹೀಗೆ ಮಾಡುವುದರಿಂದ ಯಜಮಾನನು ಸಕಲ ಅನಿಷ್ಟಗಳನ್ನು ದಾಟಿದವನಾಗಿ ಶ್ರೇಯಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಹೊಂದುವನು.
