Durga Homa is being held by chanting moolamantra of Goddess Durga for 1008 times. Similarly, Japa is done by chanting the moolamantra for 108 times. This is followed by the Poornahuthi after which Prasadam is distributed among the devotees. ಶ್ರೀದೇವಿಯವರ ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀದುರ್ಗಾದೇವಿ ಹೋಮ ಸಂದರ್ಭಕ್ಕೆ 1008 ದುರ್ಗಾ ಮೂಲ ಮಂತ್ರ ಪಠಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಹಾಗೂ 108 ದುರ್ಗಾ ಸೂಕ್ತಮಂತ್ರ ಪಾರಾಯಣ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಪೂರ್ಣ ಆಹುತಿ, ಪ್ರಸಾದ ವಿನಿಯೋಗಗಳನ್ನು ಸಹ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುವುದು.
