ಕಾರ್ತೀಕ ಶುದ್ದ ಮೂಲನಕ್ಷತ್ರದಂದು ಶ್ರೀರಂಗನಾಥ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಯವರ ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಜೀಯರ್ ತಿರುನಕ್ಷತ್ರ ಜರುಗುತ್ತದೆ, ಒಟ್ಟು ಹನ್ನೋಂದು ದಿವಸಗಳವರೆಗೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ಪೂಜೆ, ಆನಂತರ ಶ್ರೀ ಜೀಯರ್ ರವರ ಉತ್ಸವ ಮೂರ್ತಿ ಸಹಿತ ಶ್ರೀರಂಗನಾಥ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಯವರ ಗಂಧಪುಡಿ ಉತ್ಸವ ಜರುಗುತ್ತದೆ, Jeeyar Thirunakshathra is celebrated on Moola Nakshathra day in Shuddha Karthika masa. This festival is celebrated for eleven days. During these eleven days special types of poojas, parayana and ritual baths will be offered to the deity. Along with the festival deity of Jeeyar, Gandha Pudi Uthsava will be performed to Shree Ranganatha Swamy.
