Sri Bhoo Varahaswamy Temple is dedicated to the third incarnation of the Lord Vishnu as Varahaswamy with the face of a wild boar. The temple is located in a tiny village called Kallahalli, near Mysore in Karnataka, on the banks of Hemavati River. The idol is 18 ft. high and made of Saligrama stone. Sri Varahaswamy is a four armed idol in Sukhasana with the right foot of the Lord touching the ground and the left leg folded. The goddess Bhoodevi, which is sitting on the left lap of Sri Varahaswamy.

ಶ್ರೀ ಭೂವರಾಹಸ್ವಾಮಿ ದೇವಾಲಯವು ವಿಷ್ಣುವಿನ ಮೂರನೇ ಅವತಾರವಾದ ವರಾಹಸ್ವಾಮಿಯನ್ನು ಕುರಿತದ್ದಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ದೇವಾಲಯವು ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ಬಳಿಯಿರುವ ಕಲ್ಲಹಳ್ಳಿ ಎಂಬ ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಹಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಮಾವತಿ ನದಿಯ ದಡದಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವ ಮೂರ್ತಿಯು 18 ಅಡಿ ಎತ್ತರವಿದ್ದು, ಸಾಲಿಗ್ರಾಮ ಶಿಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ಶ್ರೀ ವರಾಹಸ್ವಾಮಿಯು ಸುಖಾಸೀನನಾಗಿದ್ದು ಬಲಗಾಲನ್ನು ನೆಲಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಟ್ಟಿಸಿ, ಎಡಗಾಲನ್ನು ಮಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಶ್ರೀ ಭೂದೇವಿಯ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಯು ಸ್ವಾಮಿಯ ಎಡ ತೊಡೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಸೀನಳಾಗಿದ್ದಾಳೆ.
