Tirthavidhi procedure is performed with Pind Pradaan for the purposes of offering obeisance to forefathers or ancestors in a Teertha Kshetra. Offering Nandi Shraddha, Pitru Tarpana and Punyaha Vachana in Teertha Kshetra is believed to result in benevolence of god through Pitrus.
