Sri Tirumalagiri Lakshmi Venkateshwara temple is at 2 km from Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt. Here, a 13 feet high idol of Lord Venkateshwara has been consecrated. Sri Poornaprajna Vidyapeetha is off the Kathriguppe Main Road in Bengaluru and is at 4.5 km from Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mut. Sri Banashankari Amma Temple is off Kanakapura Road and is at a distance of 2.5 km from Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt. Bana in colloquial language means Vana or forest and Shankari means the wife of Shankara or Goddess Parvati. Needless to mention, Sri Banashankari Temple is dedicated to Goddess Parvati. Most significant feature of the temple is that the deity is worshiped during Rahukala, an inauspicious time for Hindus. Special puja is performed on Tuesday, Friday and Sundays. ಶ್ರೀ ಬನಶಂಕರಿ ಅಮ್ಮನವರ ದೇವಾಲಯವು ಕನಕಪುರ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಮಠದಿಂದ 2.5 ಕಿ ಮೀ ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಆಡು ಭಾಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬನ ಎಂದರೆ ಕಾಡು ಎಂದು ಹಾಗೂ ಶಂಕರಿ ಎಂದರೆ ಶಂಕರನ ಮಡದಿ ಅಥವ ಪಾರ್ವತಿ ಎಂದು ಅರ್ಥ ಬರುತ್ತದೆ. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ, ಬನಶಂಕರಿ ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಆರಾಧ್ಯ ದೈವವೂ ಪಾರ್ವತಿ ದೇವಿಯೇ. ಈ ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ವೈಶಿಷ್ಟ್ಯವೆಂದರೆ, ದೇವಿಯ ಪೂಜೆಯನ್ನು, ಹಿಂದೂ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಮಂಗಳ ಎಂದು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸುವ ರಾಹುಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಮಂಗಳವಾರ, ಶುಕ್ರವಾರ ಹಾಗೂ ಭಾನುವಾರಗಳಂದು ವಿಶೇಷ ಪೂಜೆಗಳು ನಡೆಯುತ್ತವೆ.

The Ragigudda Sri Anjaneya temple is at about 1.5 km from Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt. In the Ragigudda Sri Anjaneya temple, idols of Shivalinga, Rama, Sita, Lakshmana and Hanuman have been consecrated. There is a small temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha, Navagrahas and Rajarajeshwari at foothill. According to a legend, the hillock was formed from a heap of Millets, which means Ragi in colloquial language and hence the name Ragigudda. ರಾಗಿಗುಡ್ಡ ಆಂಜನೇಯ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನವು ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಮಠ ದಿಂದ 1.5 ಕಿ ಮೀ ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ, ಶಿವಲಿಂಗ, ರಾಮ, ಸೀತ, ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣ ಮತ್ತು ಹನುಮಂತನ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾಪಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಗುಡ್ಡದ ಬುಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಣೇಶ, ನವಗ್ರಹಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ರಾಜರಾಜೇಶ್ವರಿಗೆ ಸಣ್ಣ ದೇವಾಲಯವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಒಂದು ದಂತ ಕಥೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಈ ಗುಡ್ಡವು ರಾಗಿಯ ರಾಶಿಯಿಂದ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾಯಿತೆಂದು, ಅದಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೇ ರಾಗಿಗುಡ್ಡ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರು ಬಂದಿತೆಂದು ಹೇಳಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
