Sri Rama Temple – Chunchanakatte
About Temple
Srirama temple is located in Chunchanakatte of K.R. Nagar taluk in Mysuru district. Chunchanakatte is at a distance of 55 km from Mysuru. Unlike in various other Srirama temples, idol of Sitadevi is standing to the right of Srirama in this temple. Moreover, the idol of Lord Hanuman is at a short distance from the idols of Srirama.
ಶ್ರೀರಾಮ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನವು ಮೈಸೂರಿನಿಂದ ಸುಮಾರು 55 ಕಿ.ಮೀ ಸಮೀಪವಿರುವ ಚುಂಚನಕಟ್ಟೆ ಎಂಬಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಚುಂಚನಕಟ್ಟೆಯು ಮೈಸೂರು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಕೆ.ಆರ್.ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಇತರ ಶ್ರೀರಾಮ ದೇವಾಲಯಗಳಂತಲ್ಲದೆ, ಚುಂಚನಕಟ್ಟೆ ಶ್ರೀರಾಮ ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೀತಾದೇವಿಯ ವಿಗ್ರಹವು ಶ್ರೀರಾಮನ ಬಲಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಅಷ್ಟೆ ಅಲ್ಲದೇ, ಇಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಶ್ರೀ ಹನುಮಂತನ ವಿಗ್ರಹವು ಶ್ರೀರಾಮನ ಮುಂದೆ ತಲೆ ಬಾಗಿ ಕುಳಿತಿರುವಂತಿಲ್ಲದೆ, ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿರುವುದು ಈ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನ ವಿಶೇಷತೆಗಳಲ್ಲೊಂದಾಗಿದೆ.
