According to rules of worship in Tirupathi, the first worship should be dedicated to Lord AadiVarahaswami before reaching Lord Srinivasa-Venkatachalapathi. The same system is followed in this temple too. There is a separate shrine for Lord. When Perumal took Varaha Avatar, Garuda Bhagwan could not have this darshan. Hence, this Varahadarshan was granted to Garuda in this temple. Lord PrasannaVenkateswara in the sanctum sanctorum looks majestically holding the scepter-Sengole. Two Mahalakshmis are on His broad chest on both sides. Divine serpent AdiSesha has his place in the Tiruvasi frame. Lord is wearing Ashalakshmi-Sahasranamamalas and DasavataraOdyanam the belt around the waist. Lord grants Netra darshan (Darshan of eyes only) without any special Alankaras on Thursday mornings. The view of Lord falls on the devotees. Of the Dwarapalakas, Jayan is wearing the Simha design ear ring and Vijayan is wearing the Gaja –elephant designed ear rings. This is a different feature in this temple. There is a separate shrine for Mother AlarmelmangaiThayar. Lord Lakshmi Varaha is in a separate shrine with His own Kodimaram-flag post. He has his right leg on Adisesha’s tail and the left on head head, holding Mother Mahalakshmi on His lap. The first Deepa Aradhana is dedicated to Him as He is the pradhanmurthi in the temple. Even during festivals to Lord PrasannaVenkateswara, the flag hoisting is done in this shrine only. Each month on the Tiruvonam Star day, Ona Dheepam is lighted in the temple. It is said that Emperor Mahabali was a rat in one of his previous births and lived in a Shiva temple. When a lamp in the temple was about to extinct, the rat incidentally fell on the lamp rekindling the wick of the lamp. The lamp continued to burn. This rewarded him with a royal birth as Emperor Mahabali. He was graced by Lord Vishnu on a Onam Star day. Remembering the event, a big lamp (AgandaDheepam) is lit in the temple on each Tiruvonam star day. Lord Srinivasa offers Darshan on the day in the front mandap. Yajnas, Tirumanjanam and wedding pujas are performed here. The AgandaDheepa is placed at the feet of the Lord. Those facing problems about marriage, concerned about children offer ghee to the lamp for relief. There are two procession deities, Srinivasa and Kallarpiran. The former comes in car procession during the Purattasi festival and later in Chithirai festival. There are shrines for Chakarathazhwar, Venugopalar and Lord Sri Rama in the temple. Sri Veera Anjaneya is at the foot of the temple in a flying posture. Devotees submit their prayers in writing to Sri Anjaneya, cover it in a yellow cloth along with an unstripped coconut. Lord Lakshmi Ganapathi shrine is nearby.
லட்சுமிவராஹர்: திருப்பதியில் வராஹ சுவாமியை வணங்கிய பிறகே வெங்கடாசலபதியை தரிசிக்க செல்ல வேண்டும். அதே விதிமுறையின்படி, இங்கும் லட்சுமி வராஹர் சன்னதி அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. பெருமாள் வராஹ அவதாரம் எடுத்தபோது, கருடாழ்வரால் அதைப்பார்க்க முடியமால் போயிற்று. எனவே, இத்தலத்தில் அவர் கருடனுக்கு வராஹ உருவம் காட்டுகிறார். நேத்திரதரிசனம்: மூலஸ்தானத்தில் பெருமாள் செங்கோலுடன், ராஜகோலத்தில் இருக்கிறார். இவரது இருமார்புகளிலும் இரண்டு மகாலட்சுமிகளும், திருவாசியில் ஆதிசேஷனும் இருக்கின்றனர். இவர் தசாவதாரம், அஷ்டலட்சுமி, சகஸ்ரநாமமாலைகள், தசாவதார ஒட்டியாணம் அணிந்திருப்பது விசேஷம். வியாழக்கிழமை காலையில் அலங்காரமில்லாமல் “நேத்திரதரிசனம்’ தருகிறார். இது மிகவும் விசேஷமானது. இவரது சன்னதியைக் காக்கும் ஜெயன், விஜயன் என்ற காவலர்களில் ஒருவரது காதில் சிம்மகுண்டலம், மற்றொருவர் காதில் கஜ (யானை) குண்டலம் அணிந்திருப்பது வித்தியாசமான அம்சம். அலர் மேலுமங்கை தாயாருக்கு தனி சன்னதி உண்டு. லட்சுமி வராகர் தனி சன்னதியில், கொடி மரத்துடன் இருக்கிறார். இவர் வலது காலை ஆதிசேஷனின் வால் மீதும், இடது காலை தலைமீதும் வைத்து, மடியில் லட்சுமியை அணைத்த கோலத்தில் இருக்கிறார். பிரதான மூர்த்தியான இவருக்கே முதல் தீபாராதனை நடக்கிறது. பிரசன்ன வெங்கடேசருக்கு விழா நடக்கும் போதும்கூட, இவரது சன்னதியிலேயே கொடி ஏற்றப்படும். திருவோண தீபம்: இத்தலத்தில், ஒவ்வொரு மாதமும் திருவோண நட்சத்திரத்தில் “ஓணதீபம்’ ஏற்றுகின்றனர். மகாபலி மன்னன், முற்பிறவி ஒன்றில், எலியாகப் பிறந்தான். சிவாலயம் ஒன்றில் வசித்துவந்த போது, ஒருமுறை அங்கிருந்த விளக்கு அணைய இருந்தது. அப்போது, விளக்கில் தற்செயலாக எலிகுதித்தது. குதித்த வேகத்தில் திரிதூண்ட பட்டு பிரகாசமாக எரிந்தது. இதனால், அவன் மறுபிறப்பில் மகாபலி மன்னனாக பிறந்து, திருவோண நட்சத்திரத்தில் பெருமாளால் ஆட்கொள்ளப்பட்டான், எனவே, இங்கு மாதம் தோறும் திருவோணத்தன்று அகண்ட தீபம் ஏற்றப்படுகிறது. அன்று காலையில் சீனிவாசர்யாக மண்டபத்திற்கு எழுந்தருள்கிறார். அப்போது யாகம், திருமஞ்சனம் மற்றும் திருக்கல்யாணவைபவம் நடக்கும். பெருமாள் சன்னதியில் அகண்ட தீபத்தில் நெய் விளக்கேற்றி அதனை சுவாமி பாதத்தில் வைத்துஆராதிக்கின்றனர். இந்த தீபதரிசனம் மிகவும் விசேஷமானது. திருமண, புத்திர தோஷம் உள்ளவர்கள் தீபத்திற்கு நெய் கொடுத்து வேண்டிக்கொள்கிறார்கள். கள்ளபிரான்: இங்கு சீனிவாசர், கள்ளர்பிரான் என இரண்டு உற்சவர்கள் இருக்கின்றனர். சித்திரை பிரம்மோற்ஸவத்தில் கள்ளபிரானும், புரட்டாசியில் சீனிவாசரும் தேர்பவனி செல்கின்றனர். சக்கரத்தாழ்வார், வேணுகோபாலர், ராமர்சன்னதிகளும் உள்ளன. மலை அடிவாரத்தில் வீரஆஞ்சநேயர் பறக்கும்நிலையில் இருக்கிறார். இவரது சன்னதியில், தங்கள் கோரிக்கையை எழுதி, மட்டைத் தேங்காயுடன் வைத்து மஞ்சள் துணியில் கட்டி வேண்டிக்கொள்கிறார்கள். அருகில் லட்சுமி கணபதி சன்னதி இருக்கிறது.
