About Temple

Temple is situated in the village of Thuravoor near Angamaly in Aluva taluk of Ernakulam district. The main deity of the temple is Goddess Bhadrakali. The sub-deities of the temple are Bhuvaneswari, This Gundakarnan, Gurumuthappan, Rakshas, Durga, Namburiyachan, Chathan, Chovva, Cheriya Muthappan, Nagyakshi, Nagarajav and Neechan.The glory of Thuravoor is glowing and enticing with the ardent blessing of Devi who showers peace, ecstasy and happiness to Her devotees.

എറണാകുളം ജില്ലയിലെ ആലുവ താലൂക്കില്‍ അങ്കമാലിക്ക് സമീപം തുറവൂര്‍ ഗ്രാമത്തി ലാണ് ശ്രീ തലക്കോട്ടപറമ്പിലമ്മ ദേവി ക്ഷേത്രം സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നത്. ക്ഷേത്രത്തില്‍ മുഖ്യ പ്രതിഷ്ഠയായി ശ്രീ ഭദ്രകാളി ദേവിയും ഉപദേവതകളായി ഭുവനേശ്വരി, ഘണ്‍ഡകര്‍ണ്ണന്‍, ഗുരുമുത്തപ്പന്‍, രക്ഷസ്, ദുര്‍ഗ്ഗ, നമ്പൂരിയച്ഛന്‍, ചാത്തന്‍, ചൊവ്വ, ചെറിയ മുത്തപ്പന്‍, നാഗയക്ഷി, നാഗരാജാവ്, നീചന്‍ എന്നിവരും കുടികൊള്ളുന്നു. നാടിന്‍റെ ചൈതന്യമായി പ്രശോഭിക്കുന്നതും ഭക്തിയോടെ അഭയം പ്രാപിക്കുന്ന ഭക്തജനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ആത്മശാന്തിയും സര്‍വ്വഐശ്വര്യവും പൂര്‍ണ്ണജീവിത സാക്ഷാത്കാരവും പ്രദാനം ചെയ്യുന്ന ഉജ്ജ്വല തേജ സ്സായി വിളങ്ങുന്ന ആദിപരാശക്തിയും അഷ്ടഐശ്വര്യ പ്രദായിനിയുമാണ് തുറവൂര്‍ ശ്രീ തലക്കോട്ടപറമ്പിലമ്മ.
