About Temple

Erandathara Nagaraja Yakshiamma Subrahmanya Swami temple is situated in Pallamturuth village of Parur taluk in Ernakulam district. Both Nagaraja and Yakshiamma have equal importance. The Upadevatas are Murugan, Rakshas & Hidumban. The temple is famous for marital bless ,to be blessed with children,educational progress and to remove Sarpa doshams (serpent sins).The temple installation festival is celebrated on Malayalam month Medom Uthradam day. The main festival falls on Medom 10th of every year. Kalamezhuthu Pattu is offered to Nagadevatas on this day every year.

എറണാകുളം ജില്ലയിലെ പറവൂര്‍ താലൂക്കിലെ ചെറിയ പല്ലംതുരുത്ത് ഗ്രാമത്തിന്‍റെ മദ്ധ്യ ഭാഗത്തായി എരണ്ടത്തറ നാഗരാജ യക്ഷിയമ്മ സുബ്രമണ്യസ്വാമി ക്ഷേത്രംനിലകൊള്ളുന്നു. നാഗരാജവിനും യക്ഷിയമ്മക്കും തുല്യ പ്രാധാന്യമുള്ള ഈ ക്ഷേത്രത്തില്‍ ഉപദേവതകളായി മുരുകന്‍, രക്ഷസ്സ്, ഹിഡുംബന്‍ എന്നിവര്‍ കുടികൊള്ളുന്നു. മംഗല്യതടസ്സം മാറുന്നതിനും സന്താനലബ്ദിക്കും വിദ്യാതടസ്സത്തിനും സര്‍പ്പ ദോഷം മാറുന്നതിനും വേണ്ടി ഈ ദേവസന്നിധിയില്‍ വന്നു പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥിച്ചാല്‍ എല്ലാ തടസ്സവും മാറുമെന്നാണ് വിശ്വാസം. ഇവിടുത്തെ പ്രതിഷ്ഠദിനം മേടമാസത്തിലെ ഉത്രാടം നാളിലും, മഹോത്സവം മേടം 10 നും ആഘോഷിക്കുന്നു. മഹോല്‍സവത്തിന് നാഗദൈവങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് കളമെഴുത്തും പാട്ടും നടത്തുന്നു.
