Muthukulangara Santhana Gopala Srikrishna Swami Temple is a rare one in the raw of Santhana Gopala Krishna Temples, in Kerala. It locates in Thrippunithura town of Ernakulam District, in the central part of Kerala. Very near to the temple, the ‘celebrity’ in Thanthric Illams Puliyannur Mana situates, who also owns fully this Lord Krishna adoration centre. Lord Krishna carrying Shankhu, Chakra, Gadha, Padma in his four hands, is the bhava of the presiding Deity. It is affirmedly believed by the people of the temple, the Holy presence of Lord Krishna and Arjuna which can joinedly be experienced here. And, the other result is, the devotees enjoy every bliss in their Karma side and especially, those are gifted by smart progenies in life. In the morning, the Namajapa by the closure time of Sreekovil, the participants are highly experienced of the ‘Karmaphala Siddhi” and welfaring experiences. It is also believed, offering poojas in this temple will give the couples offsprings to devoid of kids, according to their own wishes.
Along with the presiding Deity Santhana Gopala Krishna Swamy, Lord Sivan, Lord Ganapathi, Lord Ayyappan, Lord Hanuman, Rakshas and Nagas presence and idols empowers the splendor of the Temple. There are two major annual festivals celebrated in the temple. Dwaja Prathishta Dinam, in every 23rd of Makaram Malayalam month and Annual festival in Medam months. The temple is hardly 4 KMs away from Ernakulam Vyttila Mobility Hub (Bus Station) and 7 KMs from South Railway Station. Temple timings are; morning 4.45 to 11.15 AM and in the evening 5.30 to 7.45 PM.

മദ്ധ്യ കേരളത്തിലെ എറണാകുളം ജില്ലയിലെ തൃപ്പൂണിത്തുറയ്ക്ക് സമീപം സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്ന, താരതമ്യേന വിരളമായ, സന്താനഗോപാല ക്ഷേത്രമാണു മുതുകുളങ്ങര സന്താന ഗോപാല ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണ സ്വാമി ക്ഷേത്രം. ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൻറെ സമീപത്തുതന്നെയുള്ള, കേരളത്തിലെ പ്രസിദ്ധ താന്ത്രിക കുടുംബമായ പുലിയന്നൂർ മനക്കാരുടെ പൂർണ്ണ ഉടമസ്ഥതയിലുള്ള ക്ഷേത്രമാണിതു്. ഇവിടുത്തെ പ്രധാന പ്രതിഷ്ഠയായ ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണ ഭഗവാൻ, ശ്രീമദ് ഭാഗവതത്തിലെ സന്താനഗോപാല കഥയുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടു കിടക്കുന്നു. തന്മൂലം, ഭഗവാൻ കൃഷ്ണൻറെയും അർജ്ജുനന്‍റെയും സാന്നിദ്ധ്യം ഒരേ സമയം കുടികൊള്ളുന്നു എന്നു വിശ്വസിക്കപ്പെടുകയും, ഇവിടെ എത്തുന്ന ഭക്തജനങ്ങൾക്കു കർമ്മഫല പുഷ്ടിയും സന്താന ഫല സിദ്ധിയും വളരെ വേഗം ലഭിക്കുന്നതായാണു അനുഭവം. തൃപ്പൂണിത്തുറയില്‍ തന്നെയുള്ള പ്രസിദ്ധമായ ശ്രീപൂർണ്ണത്രയീശ ക്ഷേത്രവും, പുലിയന്നൂർ മനയും, ഈ ക്ഷേത്രവും തമ്മിൽ പരസ്പരം ദൃഢമായ ഒരു ബന്ധം നിലനിൽക്കുന്നുണ്ട്.

പ്രധാന പ്രതിഷ്ഠയായ സന്താന ഗോപാല കൃഷ്ണ ഭഗവനോടൊപ്പം, ശ്രീ ഗണപതി, ശ്രീ ശിവന്‍, ശ്രീ ഹനുമാന്‍, ശ്രീ അയ്യപ്പന്‍, നാഗങ്ങള്‍, രക്ഷസ് തുടങ്ങിയ ഉപദേവതകളുടെ സാന്നിധ്യവും പ്രതിഷ്ഠകളും ക്ഷേത്ര ചൈതന്യത്തിന് പതിന്മടങ്ങ്‌ മാറ്റ്‌ കൂട്ടുന്നു. വിപുലമായ രീതിയിലുള്ള വികസനത്തിൻറെ പാതയിലാണു ക്ഷേത്രമിപ്പോൾ. ഊട്ടുപുരയും (കല്യാണ മണ്ഡപം), ഗോപാലകൻറെ സ്മരണകളുണർത്തി നിലകൊള്ളുന്ന ഒരു ഗോശാലയും ഇന്ന് ക്ഷേത്രത്തിനോടു ചേർന്നു പണികഴിക്കപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ടു്. മലയാള കലണ്ടർ പ്രകാരം എല്ലാ മകര മാസവും 23-ന് ആഘോഷിക്കുന്ന ധ്വജപ്രതിഷ്ഠാ ദിനം, മേടമാസങ്ങളിൽ ആറു ദിവസങ്ങളിലായി നീണ്ടു നിൽക്കുന്ന മഹോത്സവം എന്നിവയാണ് പ്രധാന വാര്‍ഷികോത്സവങ്ങള്‍. ക്ഷേത്ര ദര്‍ശന സമയം രാവിലെ 4.45 മുതല്‍ 11.15 വരെയും വൈകിട്ട് 5.30 മുതല്‍ 7.45 വരെയും.
