In Aleppey district, Cherthala Thaluk, the Perumbalam village is surrounded by back waters. Goddess Durga and Kaleeshwari are performing equally and they two are treated in every equalness by the temple authorities. ‘Pallippurathamma’ is the Goddess of land and earth. The devotees reach here for dedicating their heartiest prayers before Devi, believe, their Mother will promote the complete mob and she will gift those every prosperity and improvement. History tells many about the ‘Parashakthi’ here in many ‘roopa – bhavas’. For the devotee’s world, She is remedying disastrous diseases and bless with smart off springs.

In Karthika constellation of every Malayalam month, the Neyvilakku Archana is offered against all diseases and for a blessed marital life [either bride or groom] for getting smart progenies and generally for wellness in the academics. The obstacles for those who seek employment are also removed by this offering. The evidence for all these here in, are the thousands of lamps offered by devotees for the favours received. An English Medium School is also well run by the temple committee.
