The coming of social and spiritual reformer Sri Naryana Guru Devan was a revolution itself in the whole Kerala, which paved many organisations and movements all over. The Sree Narayana Dharmodharana Sangham, functioning at Palarivattom in Ernakulam district is one amongst. Sree Hariharasutha Temple was established by the Sangham some hundred years back. The incarnation of Kaliyuga, Sree Dharmashastha is the main deity of the temple. Besides, a rare most idol of Panchamukha Anjaneya along with Navagrahas, Mahaganapathi, Mahavishnu, Sree Durga, Sree Subrahmanyan, Siva-Parvathi, Nagaraja-Nagayakshi all are here inside the temple complex. An idol of Sree Narayana Gurudevan adorns this temple particularly. A highly auspicious Sahasrakalashabhishekam was performed, first time in the whole Kerala. It is an extra fame for the temple. Annual festival is celebrated in the month of Meenam. There are many other important events in the whole year. Uthram Prasada Oottu in every Malayalam month on Uthram star states, on every first Tuesday of Malayalam months Sarvaishwarya Puja, on Ayilyam day of every month Ayilya Puja, on Chathayam days, Chathayana Dina Puja are all celebrated, with every glory. The temple can be easily visited by everyone coming to Ernakulam city as it is located in an area very near to the centre of the city. The temple is open for public every day and the visiting timings are 05:00 to 11.00 in the morning and 5:00 to 8.00 in the evening.

എറണാകുളം പട്ടണത്തിലെ പാലാരിവട്ടത്താണ് ആദരണീയനായ സാമുദായിക പരിഷ്ക്കർത്താവു് ശ്രീനാരായണ ഗുരുദേവൻറെ നാമധേയത്തിലുള്ള ശ്രീനാരായണ ധർമോദ്ധാരണസംഘത്തിന്റെ ചുമതലയില്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്ന ശ്രീ ഹരിഹരസുത ക്ഷേത്രം സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നത്. കലിയുഗവരദനായ ശ്രീധർമ്മശാസ്താവാണ് ഏകദേശം ഒരു നൂറ്റാണ്ടോളം പഴക്കമുള്ള ഈ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ പ്രധാന പ്രതിഷ്ഠ. കൂടാതെ വളരെ വിരളമായ പഞ്ചമുഖ ആഞ്ജനേയ സ്വാമിയുടെ പ്രതിഷ്ഠക്കൊപ്പം നവഗ്രഹദേവന്മാര്‍, മഹാഗണപതി, വിഷ്ണു, ദുര്‍ഗ്ഗ, സുബ്രഹ്മണ്യന്‍, ശിവ പാര്‍വതിമാര്‍, നാഗരാജാവ്-നാഗയക്ഷി തുടങ്ങിയ ഉപദേവതാ പ്രതിഷ്ഠകളും ഈ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ കാണാം. ഇതു ദക്ഷിണേന്ത്യയിൽ മറ്റൊരു ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലും ദർശിക്കുവാൻ സാധിക്കുകയില്ല. ഇതോടൊപ്പം തന്നെ ശ്രീ നാരായണ ഗുരുദേവന്റെ പ്രതിഷ്ഠയും ഉചിതമായ രീതിയില്‍ ക്ഷേത്രസമുച്ചയത്തില്‍ സ്ഥാപിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. കേരളത്തിൽ ആദ്യമായി സഹസ്രകലശാഭിഷേകം നടത്തിയെന്ന ഖ്യാതിയും ഈ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിന്റെ പ്രത്യേകതയാണ്. മീനമാസത്തിലെ തിരുവുത്സവമാണ് ക്ഷേത്രത്തില്‍ പ്രധാന വാര്‍ഷികാഘോഷം. എറണാകുളം പട്ടണത്തിനോട്‌ ചേര്‍ന്നുള്ള പാലാരിവട്ടം ജംഗ്ഷനില്‍ തന്നെയുള്ള ക്ഷേത്രമായതിനാല്‍ ഏതൊരാള്‍ക്കും എളുപ്പത്തില്‍ ക്ഷേത്രദര്‍ശനം സാധ്യമാകുന്നതാണ്. ദര്‍ശന സമയം രാവിലെ 5 മുതല്‍ 11 വരെയും വൈകിട്ട് 5 മുതല്‍ 8 വരെയും.
