About Temple

Sri madhvacharya is one of the leading personality of Hindu religion. He established a temple for Krishna in Udupi. To manage this temple he has established 8 mutts these are called ashta mutts. One of the above mutts is known as Pejavar Mutt. It’s present head is viswasa thirther and junior head is known as viswasa prasanna thirther. They administrate all this 8 mutts. It’s branch is located at triplicane – Chennai. It is situated near Parthasarathy temple in sunguvar street. “ It is called as Udupi Krishna Manthiram”. This mutt was constructed in the year 1946 and sri Krishna, sri Anjaneya, sri vadiraja mrithika brindavana and also brindavana sri putha raja were established. Every Friday sri Krishna is decorated as mahalakshmi to remove our Dosha and disturbances created by violent forces. A special pooja is contacted and a dollar is presented to the concerned person.

ஹிந்து சமயத்தின் முன்னோடிகளில் முக்கியஸ்தர் ஸ்ரீ மன் மத்வாசாரியார். இவர் உடுப்பியில் ஸ்ரீ கிருஷ்ணரை பிரதிஷ்டை செய்து அவருக்கு ஒரு ஆலயம் அமைத்தார். அந்த ஆலயத்தை நிர்வகிக்க அஷ்ட மடங்கள் எனப்படும் எட்டு மடங்களை ஸ்தாபித்தார். அந்த எட்டு மடங்களில் ஒன்றுதான் பேஜாவர் மடம். பாரம்பரியம்மிக்க பேஜாவர் மடத்தின் தற்போதைய தலைமை பீடாதிபதியாக ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ விஸ்வேஷ தீர்த்தரும் , இளைய பீடாதிபதியாக ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ விஸ்வபிரசன்னா தீர்த்தரும் பரிபாலனம் செய்துவருகின்றனர். அந்த மடத்தின் கிளை மடம்தான் சென்னை, திருவல்லிக்கேணி , பார்த்தசாரதி கோவிலுக்கு அருகில் சுங்குவார் தெருவில் அமைந்துள்ள “ உடுப்பி ஸ்ரீ கிருஷ்ண மந்திரம்”. இம் மடம் 1946 –ல் கட்டப்பட்டு, ஸ்ரீ கிருஷ்ணர், ஸ்ரீ ஆஞ்சநேயர் , ஸ்ரீ வாதிராஜர் மிருத்திகா பிருந்தாவனம் மற்றும் ஸ்ரீ பூதராஜர் ஆகியோர் பிரதிஷ்டை செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளனர். பிரதி வெள்ளிகிழமை இங்கு ஸ்ரீ கிருஷ்ணருக்கு மகாலக்ஷ்மி அலங்காரம் செய்யப்படுகிறது. நமக்கு தோஷங்கள் மற்றும் துஷ்ட சக்திகளால் ஏற்ப்படும் சங்கடங்களுக்கு பூதராஜருக்கு விசேஷ பூஜை செய்து ”எந்திரம்”(தாயத்து) வழங்கப்படுகிறது
