In veettoor village near Muvattupuzha in Ernakulam district is where the Aruvikkal Devi temple is located. In the midst of flowing streams, the goddess of the entire universe is blessed with the existence of Durga Devi as the main deity and along with her the lord ganapthy and Lord ayyappa Swamy are devoted as sub deities. The Mandala kaalam and karthika star in Vrishchikam are celebrated very prominently.
എറണാകുളം ജില്ലയിലെ മൂവാറ്റുപുഴയ്ക്കടുത്ത് വീട്ടൂര്‍ എന്ന ഗ്രാമത്തിലാണ് അരുവിയ്ക്കല്‍ ക്ഷേത്രം സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നത്. കാലം പോലെ വളഞ്ഞുപുളഞ്ഞ് ഒഴുകുന്ന അരുവിയുടെ മദ്ധ്യത്തില്‍ മൂന്നു ലോകങ്ങള്‍ക്കും മൂന്നു കാലങ്ങള്‍ക്കും മാതാവായ ദുര്‍ഗ്ഗാ ദേവിക്ക് പ്രാധാന്യവും വിഘ്നങ്ങള്‍ [തടസങ്ങള്‍] ഇല്ലാതാകുന്ന വിനായകന്‍റെയും ഹരി ഹരസുതനായ അയ്യപ്പ സ്വാമിയുടെയും സാന്നിധ്യം കൊണ്ട് അനുഗ്രഹീതമായ ക്ഷേത്രം. മണ്ഡലകാലവും വൃശ്ചിക മാസത്തിലെ കാര്‍ത്തിക നാളും വളരെ പ്രാധാന്യത്തോടെ ആഘോഷിക്കുന്നു.
