About Temple

The temple is located at Kothamanagalam, in Ernakulam district of Kerala.The main deity is Sri Bhuvaneswary Devi, who showers Her divine love on the devotees. The main offerings are “Muttirakkal” and “Pongala”, which are believed to be very sacred. The devotees who perform these Sevas , can see their wishes come true by Devi’s blessings.”
Every Malayalam month, on the Makam day and on all Fridays temple conducts “Prasadaoottu”.Apart from the Sevas, the temple trust runs Maathrusamithi, Religious institute, varioius social activities and worships.

എറണാകുളം ജില്ലയില്‍ കോതമംഗലം എന്ന സ്ഥലത്താണ് ഈ ക്ഷേത്രo സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നത്. ആശ്രിതവത്സലയായ ശ്രീ ഭുവനേശ്വരി ദേവിയാണ് ഇലഞ്ഞിക്കല്‍കാവ് ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ പ്രധാന പ്രതിഷ്ഠ. ഇവിടുത്തെ മുട്ടിറക്കല്‍ വഴിപാടും ഉത്സവനാളിലെ പൊങ്കാല സമര്‍പ്പണവും വളരെ പ്രസിദ്ധമാണ്. ഉദ്ധിഷ്ട കാര്യസിദ്ധിക്കായി നടത്തുന്ന ഈ വഴിപാട് ധാരാളം ഭക്തര്‍ക്ക് പ്രയോജനം ചെയ്തതായിട്ട് അനുഭവം. എല്ലാ മലയാളമാസ മകം നാളിലും എല്ലാ വെള്ളിയാഴ്ചയും പ്രസാദഊട്ട് നടത്തുന്നു. സേവാപ്രവര്‍ത്തനവും, സാമുഹ്യാരാധനയും മാതൃസമിതി, മതപാഠശാല എന്നിവയും ക്ഷേത്രത്തിന്‍റെ കീഴില്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്നു.
