About Temple

Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple is located in Balepet area of Bangalore. This temple has history of around 300 years. As per the available information, this temple was renovated during the period of Nadaprabhu Kempegowda. Devotees around this temple used to call this God as ‘Bale baagila Narasimha’. The Bramhothsava is celebrated for about one month. The temple administration is taken care by Muzrai department.

ಶ್ರೀ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮೀ ನರಸಿಂಹ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನವು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯದ, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಬಳೇಪೇಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ದೇವಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸುಮಾರು 300 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಐತಿಹ್ಯವಿದ್ದು, ನಾಡಪ್ರಭು ಕೆಂಪೇಗೌಡರ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನವು ಜೀರ್ಣೋದ್ಧಾರ ಹೊಂದಿದೆ ಎಂಬ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಇದೆ.

ಶ್ರೀ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮೀನರಸಿಂಹಸ್ವಾಮಿ ದೇವಾಲಯವು ಚಿಕ್ಕಪೇಟೆ ಮೆಟ್ರೋ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣವು ದಿಂದ ಕೇವಲ ಒಂದೂವರೆ (1.3 km) ಕಿಮೀ ಅಂತರದಲ್ಲಿದೆ.

ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ದೇವರು “ಶ್ರೀ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮೀ ನರಸಿಂಹ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ “. ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲ ಭಕ್ತಾದಿಗಳು ದೇವರನ್ನು ಬಳೆ ಬಾಗಿಲ ನರಸಿಂಹ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯುವ ವಾಡಿಕೆ ಇದೆ. ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿವಾರ ದೇವತೆಗಳ ಗುಡಿಗಳಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮೋತ್ಸವವು ಸುಮಾರು ಒಂದು ತಿಂಗಳುಕಾಲ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತದೆ. ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದ ಆಡಳಿತವನ್ನು ‘ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ದತ್ತಿ ಇಲಾಖೆಯು’ ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದೆ.

Praakaarotsava / ಪ್ರಾಕಾರೋತ್ಸವ

Praakaarotsava Seva is performed by devotees and followers of Lord Narasimha Swamy.

Celebration Deities are seated in Palanquin or Chariot, and taken on procession within the temple premises or the inner yard (Praakaaram), rituals are performed at the end of the procession.

ದೇವರ ಉತ್ಸವ ಮೂರ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಅಲಂಕರಿಸಿ ಪಲ್ಲಕ್ಕಿ / ರಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂರಿಸಿ, ದೇಗುಲದ ಪ್ರಾಕಾರದ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಪ್ರದಕ್ಷಿಣೆ ಬಂದು ಪೂಜೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ಮಂಗಳಾರತಿಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಳಿಸುವರು.
