Kote Sri Prasanna Venkataramana Temple is located in Sri Krishna Rajendra Road (KR Road), Bangalore.
The Temple was constructed during 15th century in Dravidian and Vijayanagar style by the Wodeyar of Mysore, Sri Chikkadevaraja Wodeyar, then ruler. The main deity of the divine shrine, Sri Prasanna Venkataramana Swamy was wonderfully carved in Saligrama Shile (Saligrama Stone) and consecrated in sanctum sanctorum. One can have the darshan of Sri Padmavathi, Sri Anjaneya Swamy and Alwar Sannidi in the temple complex. Brahmarathotsava and Navratri Utsav has its own speciality and celebrated with grandeur.
This Temple is administered by Muzrai Department of Government of Karnataka.

ಕೋಟೆ ಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರಸನ್ನ ವೆಂಕಟರಮಣಸ್ವಾಮಿ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನವನ್ನು 15 ನೇ ಶತಮಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಗಿನ ಮೈಸೂರು ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಅರಸರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಚಿಕ್ಕದೇವರಾಜ ಒಡೆಯರ್ ರವರು, ಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರಸನ್ನ ವೆಂಕಟರಮಣ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಮೂರ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಸುಮಾರು ನಾಲ್ಕು ಅಡಿ ಎತ್ತರದ ಸಾಲಿಗ್ರಾಮ ಶಿಲೆಯಿಂದ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿ ಈ ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿವಾರ ದೇವತೆಗಳಾದ ಪದ್ಮಾವತಿ ಅಮ್ಮನವರ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿ, ಶ್ರೀ ಆಂಜನೇಯ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿ ಹಾಗು ಆಳ್ವಾರ್ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯನ್ನು ಕಾಣಬಹುದಾಗಿದೆ. ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವ ನವರಾತ್ರಿ ಉತ್ಸವ ಹಾಗು ಬ್ರಹ್ಮ ರಥೋತ್ಸವ ಅತಿ ವಿಜೃಂಭಣೆಯಿಂದ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತದೆ.
